Hello! I'm finally starting zoo building again, although I don't have many ideas of what animals I should use... I'm trying to make a park inspired in San Diego Zoo/Safari Park. Suggestions? |

I'd use red tinted glass on a raised platform. If you can tunnels everywhere. |

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

Or maybe a terrarium of some sort would work. With lots of dirt. |

I'd say reskin one of Thom's tank bottoms so it looks like it's eart rather than gravel or sand, and then put a bunch of them behind a glass wall. |

@Hudson- I think you should use animals mostly from tropical and subtropical locations because the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park use mainly animals from those climates. Also you could use animals from Mediterranean climates because San Diego is in a Mediterranean climate. |

You may make a terrarium outline out of fence height of one, put a cover of mud elevated path from the Reptile Pack, on it place a bunch of rocks, whose textures are replaced by some soil texture from Google Gallery, and border it with a glass elevated path border of height of 1. Then you can place directly on the border a next layer of mud elevated path, encircle it with a second glass border, now the height of 2, and cover it. Now you can crown the terrarium with a height of 1 border, the same texture as a fence from the beginning, and cover it. ![]() Like this. I'm to lazy to reskin rocks, so imagine they're soil. The opaque border on the lower level should also be soily, to give a better effect. Edited by Swimming Spaghetti Monster, Jul 1 2014, 04:42 PM.

My first S&T is going to be set in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Here's a sample of the foliage I'm going to be using:![]() Here's a better example of what it'll look like in an actual exhibit area: ![]() Let me know your thoughts and opinions, I know the pines are probably a bit controversial but I can explain if you'd like me to |

Having literally just gotten back from vacation there this morning, I can say Florida actually has a lot more deciduous trees than conifers and palms. Granted many of them are infested with Spanish moss but still
