I live down here so that's definitely true in some parts of Florida, it just kinda depends on where you are in the state. Some of the first things I searched around for where deciduous trees that would look good with my other plants, but I couldn't find any I liked so I just went with more palms, some wetlands trees that resemble what you might see in Florida, and a few pines that looked like the types of pines you can find here. If you have any suggestions feel free to PM me.

And I think you need a more bush-like lower plant as well... Maybe a lowered Guoia or Karaka? To cover up Zoo Walls, etc. in a more realistic way than using tons of the grasses.

There's a wetland oak download that I have, I may try that. There aren't a whole ton of oaks were I live but i suppose there's enough to make sense to include it.

Edit: Here's the same bit of foliage but with tall and medium wetland oaks mixed in, as well as bushy version of the wetland oak:

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

isn't that bit too much. I would prefer a bit more open forest thing.

Don't worry, the actual foliage will be more spaced out

What kind of environment/ foliage etc in a exhibit for harbor seals would you expect ? I'm having trouble. xD

I've built a coastal habitat for them before. Make sure to have plenty of water space and maybe a small beach. ;)

Alright, so I'm trying to build a gorilla enclosure/complex. What fence(s) would be good to use?

@ Robbie: Depends on were your zoo is located.
If you look at the beaches in Belgium and Holland, the seals habitat usually exists of sandy beaches and sandbanks; while if you look at the habitat around Great Britain it's a lot more rocky. And of course they need enough water to swim. You don't really need foliage, maybe just a few dune grasses.

@ Snoopy: Glass fences always work, because they can't climb over it. But you can also work with an island-like style where you separate guests and gorillas by a deep water moat and small fence to prevent the visitors falling in.

The fences from the Cambodia pack work well for an indoors section

Thanks, they're just the default hedges. I'll get rid of them at some point. ;)

It looks good CI, I'm not sure about the tall fences in the stairs, small would look better in my opinion. ;)

Thanks. ;) I actually think they look better than short fences in this case however, so I think I'll keep them.
