I know west indian manatees are kept in freshwater exhibits with amazonian fish like arapaimas, but I wonder, can they be kept in saltwater or brackish exhibit too ?

WolfFreak123 this isn't the topic for such questions, you should ask in the "Where can I find this download ?" topic.

I believe that they can be kept in brackish exhibits. I know that they love estuaries so brackish seems fine.

It'd probably work, but it'd be best to include something about the manatees having fresh drinking water.

In places where I've seen manatees they've often been in marinas drinking the fresh water dripping out of the hoses people used to wash their boats. A manatee will suckle a hose like a calf and it's mother.

If I made an everglade tank, could I put manatees in it? Are they found in that sort of habitat?

As someone who lives fairly close to the Everglades National Park, and has swam with manatees on multiple occasions, I would say yes :)

I did some research and found manatees housed with saltwater species like permits and spadefish, so I guess it could work.

It's been proven that manatees can withstand large change in the salinity levels of water, so they would be perfectly fine :)

ok, I have three exhibits but I don't know what to put in them. The first two are in a South-East Asian section, the other is right by the zoo entrance. The walrus is for scale (I couldn't find a banana)

Thanks, I was thinking maybe an axis deer for the first or an anoa. :D However, I'm not sure if the last two would be big enough for cassowaries and capybaras...

Maybe you could transform the second one into an aviary.

The third exhibit could be used for muscovy ducks and black necked swans.

Zoo's looking pretty nice :P Although I think you should fix the whole "Falling through the world" issue, guests might get scared off xD
