I don't know if Thylacines can climb well but something like this ,click here, would hold them, though I'm talking about the fence which has an inward slope not the one preventing any stupid guests from touching the inhabitants of the exhibit. You can use glass for viewing areas as well and then there's also the option of using moats.

New Red Panda exhibit I've been working on. It's basically finished other than a couple bushes, but does anyone have suggestions/critics for it ?

(Note: there's a 1 square wide chainlink surrounding the rock wall to prevent the animals from climbing out, it's just that I have elevated paths invisible in the pic).

Too few trees and it seems like you slightly overdid the exhibit security. Red pandas can't climb over fences, and don't jump from trees. My local zoo keeps them in an exhibit with a few high trees and a fence that's about a meter high.

Basically, you can lower the back fence by quite a bit. The moat isn't necessary either, but if you want a very low fence in front it's fine. I'd also add a lot more trees but it's hard to see from an overview how much those logs actually cover :P

So I'm making a Sulawesi themed exhibit and I'm looking for a snake that could go in the middle. Any suggestions?

A piece of toast and a terminator.

I'm making a large indo-Pacific reef tank with the following species-

Whale shark
Sandbar shark
Spotted wobbegong
Zebra shark
Humphead wrasse
Manta ray
Blue Spotted ray
Spotted Eagle ray

Any ideas on coral/rock placement?

Honestly I'd take out the Blue Spotted Ray, it seems too small comparted to the other animals and it could go unnoticed, if not scared.

As for your question, I'd say leave large patches of bare sands; shark skin is quite delicate, and if the benthic ones (zebra, wobbegong) or the rays spend too much time on rocks, they could get injuries and infections.
For the same reason, try to avoid rocks/corals that look too sharp.

New zoo, new animals. :)

I have lots of new plans, only barely any free time at all.

Oh my god ... It's ... It's an Elephant Shrew New Model :o

Anyways should i put sand for my Scimitar Horned Oryx or should i just put (To Make Realism even if sand is quite common) the normal zoo floor (Calcutta Zoo One) ?

I don't think that matters that much, so you can pick whatever looks best :D

So, how viable would a walkthrough with collared peccaries be? And what other species could I add to this? Squirrel monkeys or capybaras perhaps?

It is viable if you keep guests away from peccaries, I've read some stories from native americans, and well, you wouldn't want one of your guests to lose its butt to a pig.

Hmm no I'd prefer not to :P Well, that's nothing a few rocks and a moat can't fix

As for other species - as long as the number of individual animals (particularly the peccaries themselves) is reasonably low, they could be housed with waterfowl, which could live in your moat. Capybara would work well too. I have no idea about squirrel monkeys, but I can't see a reason why not as long as there's plenty of climbing apparatus.

As mentioned though they can be an aggressive species, so you should probably provide places for the other animals to get away from them as well as an indoor holding area. I wouldn't want to be a keeper cleaning a collared peccary enclosure if there were still animals in there. xD
