Isn't pyramid shell derived from lack of calcium due to either a poor diet or not enough sunlight ?
Kind of but improper humidity and lack of access to natural burrow microclimates plays a considerable factor.
And besides, calcium deficiencies lead to soft or deformed shells, not linear pyramiding on the scutes.

Also one of the main affects of pyramiding is an improper diet with too much sugars. A forest tortoise can have about 40% of it's diet a fruit, with the rest being rather fibrous, and a small portion of protein. Grassland and Mediterranean tortoises should only have fruits and peppers as a once a week treat with the amout based on size and diet of the animal. But overall, unproper humidity and diet are the leading causes of tortoise pyramiding and respiratory problems.

Can you realistically have Aldabra's Giant Tortoises in an outdoor exhibit, only in the summer though, in Nova Scotia?

If it's a rather hot summer, then yes. But they should be inside almost the entire year and have a large indoor area. You could have them in a large exhibit with invasive goats as inspiration.

Do you guys think that different species of raptors could be rotated in-and-out of a shared exercise yard? I'm fiddling with a park section featuring American raptors and I really don't want to just repeat aviaries over and over for each individual species. So my thought was to have 3 flight cages (American Kestrel, Red-tailed Hawk, and Osprey) that are separated from each other but open up into a large, shared exercise yard. The birds would be rotated in and out (my idea is with traditional falconry training to recall the birds when their time is up?). I'm trying to build this park as a "modest" facility that later grows into something more world-class, so saving space by sharing large yards whenever possible is a feature of a lot of the exhibits I'm currently building.

Just curious if this is something that could be done without putting the birds at risk of fighting with each other or feeling skittish in the yard because they can smell/hear the other birds (note: different species will not be in the yard together at the same time).

I believe they do that at the Hogle Zoo or Tracy Aviary. I'd say it would work.

The Red-tailed Hawk and Osprey could probably even share an exhibit, I've seen that before.

Could Maguari storks be kept in a non aviary enclosure without escaping?

Kestrel might be stressed by the larger two, but if there are visual barriers that should suffice since they don't have a great sense of smell and it'd be unlikely to stress over hearing the other birds.

Have I made a discovery, or does everyone know this?
You can place the safari track on the raised walkways to create bridges or high roads that give guests a better view. I prefer it to the cable seats. Guests will still try to walk on them with the cars, though, so I use the safety gates to stop them getting in the way.
