Some Hoopoes, ducks, woodpeckers, passeriformes and a stork or heron could go in. |

@Burns Thanks for the tip, I will try to work on it. @Dylan , thanks for the suggestion. I thought actually to include some owls in the exhibit, wich birds can go in the same exhibit without problems? |

I don't think there's much you can put together with european owls, except maybe the smaller species like the little owl. Although I think some zoos have combined different species of birds of prey together. I wouldn't forget about the common pheasant tho, that one should be suitable for your walkthrough. |

Planckendael has a European beaver and some northern bald ibises in an exhibit with a great grey owl and a long-eared owl. You can probably combine them with similarly-sized birds of prey too. |

Thanks for the comment Stephen. Planckendael is my home zoo and I actually had some inspiration from visiting it a while ago. The problem is that I don't know the exact species and if they exist in the game. @Furka, thanks for giving advice, would a stork go with owls? |

Definetely yes. Cologne keeps common kestrels, Northern bald ibises, black storks and grey partridges all together with barn owls and long-eared owls in a walkthrough aviary. |

We have all four species in that combo ingame (well, if you can live with the fact that the only beaver we have is an American beaver but there's no visible difference so who cares ). Zootierliste.de is very useful if you want to know what species a zoo keeps.

5 species Stephen, don't forget the pair of Ring-necked pheasants! These are the species in planckendael's european aviary: 2 Long-eared owls (Don't think we have these, idk) 1 European great grey owl 1 European beaver 2 European ring-necked pheasants 5 Northern bald ibises (And occasionally 6 African spoonbills, when they are working on the african aviary beside it) Edited by Anton, May 17 2016, 07:49 PM.

Yep, we don't have long eared owls, but you could probably replace them with barn or tawny owl (we also hae a short eared but I don't know much about this species). Perhaps little owl too, but idk if it would be safe to keep them with the larger grey owl. |

Got my old computer up and running and reinstalled Zt2 plus a fair amount of downloads (mostly Radical Remake, American Adventures, European Expeditions, and stuff from HENDRIX's signature). Debating on building a possible entry for the "Hometown Zoo" contest, and challenging myself even more by using species and subspecies not currently found in any major zoo within my home state of Massachusetts. Hey, I have a question and hope someone can help me with this cause I have creative block for few days now doing nothing because I can't decide what to put in my new Forest Zoo that is planned to be shown here soon, just need few more exhibits finished. Like I said I'm building Forest Zoo, it is mostly temperete-boreal forest and I plan to include some animals that could live in this conditions. For now I have Indian Peafowl, Raccoon, European and River Otters and Deer(European Fallow, Red and European Roe) exhibits with a lot of treest and bushes around and guest areas. Now I want to add few more simple exhibits like this with some not so fancy animals like bears or some endangered and exotic species, because it will be near zoo entrance, but can't think about anyhing. I am considering some big flightless bird exhibit, like emu or rhea but I am not sure. So if you have any ideas I would be more then grateful to hear them

Well, if you still want to go with the mainly European theme, you could use some mid-sized mammal like foxes or mustelids, or some birds like waterfowls and cranes. |

Are foxes in real life territorial animals? How much red foxes could I put into an enclosure until they start attacking each other? |
