I think you should be fine with a family, although I don't know if grown ups will be tolerated forever. Might also be different depending on fox species.

Well, if you still want to go with the mainly European theme, you could use some mid-sized mammal like foxes or mustelids, or some birds like waterfowls and cranes.
thanks for replay, its good idea to put some mustelids, I will do that for sure. Waterfowls are great, but I already have tank with otters and fountain-lake in this small area, so I am not sure about one more lake in this area, it will be to much water for that small area. Cranes are great to, but I am not sure do I want exhibit with roof to keep them from flying away. Great ideas anyway, I like that mostly european theme, i didn't see that I have mostly european animals until reading your post :D :)

Now I'm not for 100% but I think you'll be ok with not putting a roof on your crane exhibit as most of the birds in the game only seem to fly a few feet off the ground. Again I could be wrong though.

well yeah I know they will move only inside exhibit but I am trying to build as realistic and functional zoo as possible and I suppose that in real life cranes would be abble to run away if they are not in aviary. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for respond anyway

Cranes in zoos often have their wings clipped and can't fly, so they are kept in "open" exhibits like terrestrial animals.

that is interesting, it is a little sad for me to know that they are unable to fly for reason to be in a open exhibit but maybe this will fix my problem, I will try to build their exhibit and see how it looks :) Thank you so much

Clipping their wings doesn't hurt them if done properly

It does harm them, since they are unable to fly. IIRC this hinders them while breeding, the males have a lot more difficulty keeping their balance. There's some other issues as well, but I don't recall them anymore.

Either way, clipping (not pinioning) is still an acceptable practice in zoos, so yeah, it can be done. An aviary is preferable if you want to breed the animals though.

Don't forget that there are two different ways to clip wings: one is the more brutal one because you clip a part of the whole wing, so the bird will never be able to fly again. This is a practice that was often used in former times of the zoo holding and is now completely forbidden in some countries, at least here in Germany.
The other practice is just clipping the remiges of a wing. This does not hurt indeed and won't prevent the birds from flying permenantly, this clipping has to be remade after the next moult.

Maybe this was off-topic, sorry for that, but wanted to say that ;)

At Rio Dell Animal Adventure, I'm working on the "Expedition: Congo" area that is after "Raptor Ridge". It's going to house Sitatungas, Red River Hogs, Flamingos, Nile Crocodiles (Maybe), Nile Hippos, and Okapis.

I'm working on the Okapi Exhibit area now, well I just completed it. There is the exhibit that is connected to a two-stall barn area. Then behind it where the public cannot see is the calf yard, where females can take their calves outside, and off-exhibit okapis can go out. And then there is a three-stall barn, where three future okapis can live.

So yes, Rio Dell Animal Adventure will be a zoo that will be well known for breeding and having a large population of okapi.

What animals would make sense to have at a zoo entrance? I'm starting my huge, grand zoo and I can't decide what to put right after the entrance. The foliage theme is basically similar to Azrael's Northwick Zoo because our zoos are located in the same area. (It's the N.C.W.F.'s one and only grand zoo, of course it's in North Carolina.)

Various animals can be used as a first exhibit. Examples of these animals you can use are baboons, camels, mongoose, and flamingos.

I am building a zoo based in New Zeeland, and my question is, what kind of foliage would be realistic?

Should i mix Palm Trees with Leaf Trees and what kind of ground foliage should i use?

It really depends what part of New Zealand you are building in. It has more than one biome ;)
