As already mentioned I definitely think you should include an area focussed on the Atlas range as it differs so much from the others due to its separation from them caused by the Sahara

Yeah I've checked the link for sure but replied to your two regions I was interested in the most. I think I will add the Kilimanjaro so you definitely helped me. Also I'm still looking into the Atlas range, but I'm not sure if that will really fit in with the other regions.
Well I don't think my zoo is realistic haha. I have every Rhinoceros species, 4 Giraffe species, around 5 Zebra species (subspecies included) and a total of 300-400 different species (and that are mainly mammals and not even many birds and reptiles). |

Are there any European zoos who keep crocodiles outside during the summer? And I mean African/Asian crocodile species, not Chinese Alligators, but species which really need heat/sun. I'm planning on creating an Nile themed section with Nile Crocodiles. I want to keep them inside but wanted to know if it is possible to let them outside when it is really hot during the summer. Would it be possible to do and if so, from which temperature would it be possible to do so? |

I know Pistoia (Tuscany, Italy) does keep Colombian spectacled caiman outdoor during the summer, in the former coypu exhibit. |

I've seen dwarf crocs in an unheated building, so it was the same temperature as out-side |

Warsaw zoo keeps two species of crocodile outside, I think Cuban and Siamese crocodiles. Both species also had access to an indoor enclosure though. |

But would that also be possible with Nile Crocodiles in Germany? The pool would be heatened to make sure it has the same temperature as inside (so only in the summer months) and I would add some artificial lighting in the exhibit to provide proper heat spots. |

Well Poland is quite cold, so I'd guess Germany's fine.

It was 30 degrees Celsius when I visited, but yeah, if it's possible in Poland then it should be fine in Germany as well.

Okay, I was more asking it because it is a different species of crocodile, but thank you for all your help! Seems like I can build an exhibit for Nile Crocodiles with an indoor and outdoor part! |

Can anybody shed some light and offer some help on how to make off-show/holding pens or mini exhibits for bears? I don't know what sort of behind the scenes things bears need. So any help would be appreciated, photos or examples I could work from would be superb if possible. I don't have much space and I'm going for hyper realism so need ideas for the holding dens and off-show pens for my sloth and sun bears. Thanks in advance

Also, if you look up "bear" on Zoolex, this should help for offshow bear pens. |

Can I put emus in an exhibit where guests can walk through it or is that too dangerous? |
