They can get pretty dangerous. Their best defense is kicking and biting. They won't break a leg or take a finger but its still unpleasant. So I'd say no

Edit: xD Everyone says they're a thing

I'd say yes, many Australian Zoos do that as well as a couple in the US. Paleodude befriended an emu before.

Can confirm that Emu walkthroughs are a thing. The Brookfield Zoo in Illinois has one that I've visited.

Would it be possible to keep non-marine reptiles in an exhibit that includes a saltwater pond ?
I was thinking of doing a ref exhibit and then drop something like iguanas or anoles on the land part, but Idk if they'0d do fine or if the water would hurt them.

It shouldn't hurt them, but make sure they have fairly deep fresh water to bathe in.

Hey guys! I'm working on a Kirk's dik-dik exhibit for my zoo. I know very little about these small antelopes, so I made an attempt to build an exhibit for them. Is it too big or else? Should I remove some trees to make it more open?

I'd say this is pretty good =D
It resembles most Dik-Dik exhibits I've seen in real life and Zoo Tycoon 2
If you want to see some examples here they are:

You'd never see them in an enclosure that large tbh. Every dik-dik enclosure I've seen [seven as far as I remember] was fairly small to actually allow guests to see them. [Even then, SDZSP's Cavendish Dik-dik enclosure is almost too large].

Bioparc Valencia keeps them in an outdoor exhibit that's around 10 m² so perhaps a bigger antelope would be a better fit for your exhibit?

It's the same in tiergarten schönbrunn, the dik dik exhibit is a smaller rectangle bordering the famous rotunda ungulate exhibits. They would never put a dik dik in one of the rotunda exhibits even though they aren't that big because it would seem like a waste of space because they are such a small mammal

Thank you so much for your help guys! I've decided to keep my Dik-Diks in a smaller exhibit and house some bigger animals in the exhibit that I showed here. Now I have another question: is this fence too short for a crocodile exhibit?

If you want your guests to have fingers and their head at the end of the day: yes :D

I don't see why it's too short, "people are dumb" is a really dumb reason in turn. Just put "do not lean over fence" signs and your gold.

Because if someone gets bitten they can probably start a lawsuit, and not having proper fencing wouldn't help your cause.

I suggest you placing something between the glass fence and the crocs, or using a taller glass fence (just like the ones at Sophie's grey rock pack).
