I'm not sure of this one, but would it be a terrible idea to have a red panda in a walk-through enclosure, or are they not suitable or even too dangerous to be in one of those ? |

If you send me the z2s I'll take a look. If it's not 0kB there's a good chance it's fixable

Not too sure about a walk through exhibit but I know a few zoos have red panda encounters where guests can hand feed and interact with them. You could possibly simulate something similar to that. |

I've been looking for information about West Indian manatees as I'm planning to make an exhibit with them. However one question remains, if I have a couple of them do they need a smaller separate pool for a female that is about to give birth or has already done it or they can be in the same pool without complications ? It seems like many zoos just have one big pool for their manatees.

I think separate pools are mostly to make staff work easier, Genoa had their manatee with baby remain with the group the whole time and just locked the whole exhibit from the public until they were ready to show it (then again Genoa keeps the manatees in the former seals exhibit, so it doesn't have a separate pool option). I mean, it's easier to keep an eye out and check on one pregnant manatee without the others moving around and getting in the way asking for food or just for curiosity. |
