I'm having issues finding a style that I'm both comfortable with building, that I like and that people will accept.

Well, you can start by trying to find a building style that matchs with the zoo location and weather of the region. Where is your zoo located?

And i need to know how i should build a river dolphin and amazonian manati enclosure. I want them to be part of the same building, with big tank walls that allows the guest to have an underwater viewing... but the thing i don't know how to make is the "backstage" of the exhibit, meaning a place for the zookeepers to enter the exhibit, i don't know if a need another pool conected to the main one when the dolphin is off-exhibition... well i don't know how to make the exhibit xD Any ideas guys?

I'm not sure if I can be very useful to you with that, but I think you should make a river with a small bridge over it, from where guests could have a view on the animals from above, somethi,ng like that maybe :)

But I'm sure it will be awesome, whatever you decide to make :p

lol i'm laughing because this was the exact same idea that i have in mind with the bridge and all. We think alike Maki.

But my question is, should i make an outdoor viewing area as well? how do make the zookeepers area for this (i mean how do they acces to the tanks)? And should a i make an off-show tank for the dolphin?

I think the off-show area for dolphins is a very good idea. But I have no idea about the other questions :p

if you keep the dolphins in a lake, then the zookeepers will easily access it from the ground (although a fence is needed to keep guests away). and for the offshow area, just separate part of the lake with a chainlink tankwall

Thanks guys i'll will keep this things in mind when i build the aquarium. I'm going to wait for Titan's pack to be release though, as it will include a very good amazonian dolphin and amazonina manati. But for now i'm dowing the plan on paper xD

I guess this is not double post because i posted the last coment yesterday... i need your opinion guys. I'm working on map two of IguaZOO. I finished the Maned Wolf exhibit, and i used the savanah biome. It looks really nice, but... do you think it would loo better if i use grassland instead fo savanah? I would have to change most of the foliage if do that, but i just want it to look the best as possible. So you could have an idea, the style of the exhibit is similar to the enviroment in this photo of the maned wolf:

I honestly would love to get something more like this:

But combining savanah grass with grasland grass it does not look good, at least for my taste... so what should i do?

Maybe at least try the mixture, perhaps? It's worth a shot, I think savannah grass and grassland grass + scrub dirt may work?

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Grassland grass, grassland dirt, and scrub grass mixed together with grassland and scrub foliage would work well for that.

I don't think i have any srub grass :/ I guess i'll try the mixture tomorrow if i got time (great, now i have to delete all the savanah grass xD ). And i think scrub dirt would be better indeed, i will try that too.

Yeah I think scrub mixed with grassland would be great. Mix it with some grassland grasses and a few plants from the fynbos pack and it will be like potato latkas. THE BOMB!

i have fynbos pack, i'm just kind of tired of using the same plants everytime... i mean the general style of the zoo need it, but would love to have some other scrub plants, like grass and dry bushes, stuf like that, somthign that matchs better with a southamerican savanah... do you know where i can get some? i asked in the "where can i find this download thread" but no one answered :/

Orcas . Do I need to explain ?

Maybe using Ceraddo Treasures pack from AD could work out . imo Pampas Grass and Queen Palm could fit .

Also I have this original idea called " At the Quarantine " where I show the animals in their quarantine and give their background info so that when I show the exhobit , there won't be long boring text . I just need what are other people's thoughts on this .

I already used the plants from the cerrado treasure pack in the exhibit lol i'm in need of grasses, like the ones of JH but for scrublands.

And one of the things i enjoy the most while preparing the updates of my zoo, is making up the stories of the animals. I think is a better idea if you just post a bit of text (maybe two lines) then followed by a couple of pictures, and then a bit more of text again, and so. Than way is much faster for the viewer of the S&T to read and at the same time you are showing pictures of the animals. I think is better than doing two updates, one being just the animals in the quarentine pens. If you want to do two updates you can do what i did sometimes, i first show the exhibit and then i do a second update showcasting the animals and their stories, with close up and fun pics of them in different situations. But is up to you really. You are the one that have to enjoy making the zoo. You can even put no background story for the animals and just show the picture. But like i said, do whate ever you feel confortable with. If you like making up stories then write them, don't mind if other will read it or not just because the text is too long and they are quite lazy :P They will enjoy the pictures anyway and you are going to enjoy the game and "show&telling" expirience :)
