Well i never heard of white sharks being kept in captivity in zoos... maybe in some kind of rehabilitation center. But i guess it will have to be a very large tank and with nothing else but the shark in it (by nothing else i mean no other animals, except maybe for some fish to serve as food). But i honestly have no idea on how to make an exhibit for a great white shark. I know there are whale sharks kept in captivity in a massive aquarium somewhere in the world that i can't remember where exactly at the moment... but those are gentle giant so i guess is easier to take care of them.

i think i saw a Youtube video with a juvenile white shark in an aquarium or something but, i'll see what i can do, given i have Zero's white and whale shark remakes.

Orcas . Do I need to explain ?

They're right . Great White Sharks , are rarely kept in captivity . I think you know why ;) ! Anyway They'll need a large tank and some rocks I think . I suggest only using these for a temporary stay at a rehab center .

the Monterey Bay aquarium keeps young great whites in captivity for short periods of time, then releases them. they are kept in the large oceanic tank with tunas, mahi-mahi, herrings and other sharks, the tank is just empty when it comes to foliage or rocks.
a fully grown white, however, doesn't seem realistic to me

Well, we can go even further in the game because, simply put, there's no boundaries.

However, IIRC, these sharks aren‘t kept in an indoor tank but in an outdoor one? If I were you trevelynh, I‘d go for tiger sharks. Just as impressive and way easier to keep ;)

I think the aquarium where they keep juvenile great whites is enclosed (indoor) but I could be wrong. I know that you see them there a underwater tunnel you walk through. (I think). Still something I hope to see possible at some point, I know you can make a tank on either side with an elevated path roof, but I mean, a full tunnel with water surrounding it (:

Guys , is it generally a good idea to put kelp in dollphin and other marine species' exhibits ? Because , I'm really concerned about cetaceans getting choked or tangled by kelp ...

It's a great addition if you use it with sea otters or smaller fishes. Cetacean enclosure almost never have foliage in them, as Furka said.
