@ Stephen Yeah I think that's what I mean , but I'm not sure! ![]() @ Imp Just experiment with different ideas. I find looking at other peoples zoos helps as well as looking at Photos of zoos. If look at different styles of zoo then I'm sure you will find something that suits your taste. Edited by Cat, Jun 16 2013, 03:56 PM.

Imp, a few months ago, I practically wrote down an entire zoo. I didn't feel like making it, but it's entirely complete, foliage combo, building set, animal list (even though that's still changeable). You want me to send it to you? @Chalicotherium, I'll try doing that! Thanks for your help! Edited by Stephen, Jun 16 2013, 04:01 PM.

You‘ll have to wait until tomorrow since it‘s all on my iPad. I can already give some information though. It‘s a tropical park, located somewhere on an island in the Indian Ocean (I planned it to be on Réunion), so it has mainly African and Asian species. However, the setting is also appropriate for the Caribbean, but then you‘ll need to change the species list. |

I'm currently making an african elephant enclosures complex. I was wondering how to make the pools original ... Anyone has an idea?

What about making an pool in a coastal biome, with a small area of sand, put some water plants and if isn't much work an underwater view? And in the place of the view, make like a school for teach peoples about poaching in South Africa? Now, my time: It's a recently made exhibit, not sure with specie use but probably Okapi or Bongo What you guys think?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm making a huge combo exhibit, and I have a few questions I need some help with. Are flamingo's potentially harmful to guests? And what are important parts of a combo savannah exhibit? (Giraffe, gazelle, buffalo, etc.) |

@Hudson: one or two pages back I posted a random choice generator. @Shadow Chaser: I don‘t think they are that harmful, though I personally wouldn‘t do a walkthrough (if that‘s what you were planning) For the combo, what do you mean? What are the must have species or just the design of the exhibit? |

The parts of the exhibit. I currently just have a large open enclosure, with nothing in it. There's a large moat with some fences that seperate the people from the animals. Then there's a platform over the water for feeding giraffes. I need to know what I should make within the enclosure. |

I think you should add a small mud area if you have rhinos, buffaloes or warthogs ... Then maybe an area with more vegetation so that some animals such as gazelles can hide in. Also I think an indoor area is needed, maybe even several because some animals can't live together ![]() Then you can add lots of things that only depend of you (decoration ...)

Hudson :O It looks really amazing, but I would suggest choosing a species that's more accustomed to an environment that's more open than the Okapi or Bongo... Maybe something that is seen near lakes or seas considering the pond... |

I saw some photos in Zoo Chat and most of the zoos have bongos and batengs with less foliage than this... So, I'm now with Bongo-Duiker exhibit! I think it can work, now, what's good for another enclosure? Something that suits good in tropical places and is quite unique |
