Bongos require little to no ground foliage, as they would just eat it. Bushes and other medium-height foliage give the same problem. You can use some low grasses though, they don't seem to eat/trample them. Perhaps some dirt roads? Higher foliage (Trees, but bamboo also seems rather common) of which the leaves are out of the reach of the animals seem to be okay too. As said, these animals are rather shy, so they either need to have constant access to their indoors or have enough foliage to hide themselves in. I'd go for the first option, but in the end, it's your choice. Some pictures:![]() ![]() ![]() Also, apart from a bit higher privacy needs, there is no difference with other ungulates. |

Maybe a circular exhibit with rock walls, and a glass wall for viewing. |

I tell you what i did for i small i'm working on. An small portion of land with rocks and scrub foliage, with the meerkats rock that comes with game and a few savanah rocks around. That as an outside portion, and then i made an "underground" viewing conected to the outdoor portion. |
