Well, pretty much anything'd work. Wouldn't recommend duikers though, these seem a tad too small? Springboks, Thompson's gazelles, Waterbucks, Bontebok, Eland, Gerenuk etc...Pretty much anything as big or bigger as a Thommie should work. |

Um you can't just say "California" what region of California are you building it in? What city? Is there a city? California's too big and too varied to just say "California". |

Most people don't actually know anything about California other than Los Angeles etc. I know there there is desert in California, obviously coast. And probably a few other "biomes". I would choose a city you want it to be close to and then ask though, as Fireplume mentioned. |

California has everything. EVERYTHING. Well, save for Tundra. Kinda lacking tundra, but seriously, it's probably the most varied state in the US. |

Sorry that I was to vague! But I was thinking San Diego, around that area anyways, and it won't be like IN the city but out a bit, but close(ish) to the sea, if that makes any sense? |

Sure it does, it'd be desert-coastal mixture, depending on how wet you want the zoo to be. Southern California is characterized by a good mixture of desert, coastal, possibly some grassland and scrub in the mix as well. |
