shh maybe if I write it small he wont notice, *speaks ill of said spam forum* Anyway, I hate when parents in stores or such make no attempt at disciplining their kids. Like today I was at Wal-Mart and this kid who was like seven knocked all the candy off the rack and his mom just keeps walking. And there's no way she didn't hear it... |

Yesterday my dad was lying in the spot where I sleep most of the time, when I went in there and lied down, I felt something and looked down and there was a bloody looking piece of skin that was stuck to my leg from him. That's how bad his hygiene is and I wanted to vomit the whole night. |

-shudders- That still makes me feel ill thinking about it, how does someone function with that low a level of hygiene? On another subject, when the lights go out and you walk face first into a door you thought was open |

Or when you're walking all la-dee-da and there's a step or a change in terrain and you don't see it and aren't prepared and you lurch and nearly fall down. Or if you're walking down stairs and you're prepared for another step and it's just ground.. same thing. |

Walking on Lego is bad under any circumstances, makes me wonder why it wasn't used in Home Alone, that stuff's deadly, I'd rather walk on hot coals... ok maybe not, but you get my point |

Oh, how I wish I were still at school in many ways. You'll miss it too in time. Homework though, that I agree, honestly it's a negative aspect both in the sense that kids hate it, and in the sense that if one is given a near constant barrage of learning it can be detrimental and the students require rest. Giving them large amounts of homework during those rest times is not a good idea, at least in my view |

See that is point blank insane. While I'm not calling for homework to be banned, the majority of it should be scrapped. Fortunately the British system is getting reformed. We need homework for the most part reduced, abolish standardized testing, increase the funding to schools, have a lower student/teacher ratio, increase relaxation time such as recess and school, make sure teachers are the best possible (For example in Finland teachers need a master's degree to teach, and those are subsidized by the state), and finally we need to be rid of competitive teaching, where the students are made to compete with one another, which has been shown time and again to be very bad. That's my personal platform for education reform, so you tell me, if I were a politician, would I get your vote on this? |
