It annoys me when your underwear rides up on you, and everyone thinks you're a pervert for trying to, shall we say, "ease the pain."

I'm annoyed by people who are so stubborn even when they're wrong.
I honestly can't stand this and unfortunately I find myself dealing with it a lot.

I absolutely hate it when people just can't possibly see that they could be in the wrong. I have a difficult time being proved wrong at times but if I am, I accept it. To keep fighting it or just to refuse to accept it particularly when presented with evidence is so childish. Some people just cannot be reasoned with, I guess.

I also hate when you're arguing with someone and you prove them wrong on a point so they completely disregard that and pull out another irrelevant question to you to turn the blame back to you. If you're wrong, just accept it! >.>

When you look at old sites that you went on years ago, and seeing how much of a bulls***er you were.

I just looked back at Tesara and Environ and I'm surprised I wasn't banned for all of the lies I spewed (also the amount of "this is really bad i'm sorry." and "Don't look if you're allergic to epic fails" made me feel ill)

I'm just thankful I grew up ._.

Oh dear god, this.

I look back on those old days and I was trying to be the nicest best person I could, yet I was completely obnoxious back then much of the time. Oh sure I was younger, other people were equally obnoxious, there were hormones and puberty involved for most of us, but still I sometimes wonder how people could stand being around me back then

I can relate. I haven't even been around that long, but I can see it. :<

I like to think I'm a bit more level-headed now than I was when I first started out and had a few... issues with people.

When you look back at your older posts and want to hit your past self in the face for being such a numbskull.

Also, how addictive Jurassic Park Builder can be.

And how my turtle's stupid filter keeps breaking down.

When all my cousins and other relatives start to protest when I told them I will have pet snake when I got university....

"It's dangerous! It can bite you to death!"

"It's dirty and strange! Why don't get a puppy instead.*

basically, people saying that fishers are evil mean people that should all die, and that one in the video should have been stabbed to death.

I saw this picture on my News Feed on FB but it reminded me of something that really annoys me.

I can understand if people who are non-English speakers get grammar confused, as English is their second language and they are bound to make mistakes. I am nowhere near fluent in any languages I am learning (Spanish and French) and so if I were to post on, say, ZooHispania, I would hope they would forgive my errors and not mock me because I am not fluent at Spanish.

However, one thing that bugs me is when people who have learnt English as their first language get their grammar wrong. Especially 'your' and 'you're', which is all too common on places like Facebook and Twitter. I am not trying to say 'anyone who doesn't know grammar is a disgrace' or anything like that, if for example they had a condition like Dyslexia which makes it harder for them to learn grammar I wouldn't be annoyed. It is the sheer number of people who don't know their grammar and don't care at all that annoys me, and they often use it wrongly, or even worse make two words interchangeable . Let me give an example.

I've seen on Facebook, one person say 'When your looking out the window and your tree falls down, you know you're screwed'. In this example this person has used 'your' for both the correct use (possessive, 'your tree') and in the wrong context (contraction of 'you are') and then used 'You're' correctly (contraction of 'you are'). This kind of sentence shows she was just completely guessing at which spelling to use, which really is not good.

/rant over

I probably sound like a snob, moaning about grammar, however I think it's really important :P

It's even worse trying to understand some grammatical abominations while English is your second language -after all I'm supposed to treat native speakers as a source of guidance, but too many times I only learned bad habits this way :/

You're right, Okeanos. It's really important. I really don't like it when people don't know how to use 'hear' and 'here'. Strangely, it's a common mistake that I have committed, and often corrected immediately. Can't say much for a lot of other people though.
