I didn't bother with social life until 20's and even then it didn't mean much to me. Look how well it all turned out. Okay, maybe I'm not the best example ._. *Hisses and hides in his mancave* |

I'm also annoyed by the polygamy things... I know that we possibly evolve from polygamous ancestor, but why can't we stop it here? It always cause trouble such as affair, which is very bad when occur. For some cultures that polygamy is just a common thing. I don't see its importance here in the modern world. For for animals, it's very important to make sure that you can have many offsprings as possible. Many slow breeding such as large ungulates and primates choose polygamy to help this. Sure, they breed to several females and produce a lot of youngs. But in the wilderness, not all of them will survive to adult. But in humans, especially the one in the modern world where convenience are everywhere. So, I think the latter it's all about feeling. And then, when humans breed like animals. Every single offsprings survive and plague the world. I am not amazed why we are having problem about overpopulation nowaday. Edited by Mathius Tyra, Dec 9 2013, 07:14 AM.

Going into super population there's this add in Youtube about this "Project Sunlight" thingystuff which encourages young couples to have kids. I REALLY annoys me, come on guys, we're nearing overpopulation! China's got around 1 billion people, the African Continent is estimated to reach 1 billionm people in the next few years and many poor citizens of "Third World" (Man I HATE that therm too...) countries are not aware of overpopulation and have like, kids at 10... Sure thing the European countries's natality rates are now dropping (I've heard Russia's is negative...), that's good, but the rest of the world needs to be aware of overpopulation and it's consequences! And that's why I hate Project Sunlight, they say that deadly diseases will be cured with simple medicine while these children grow, and that water will be everywhere, and that the world will be paradise. Hell it will, it will be the same, disease and warfull world, where water will be ever rarer, and big cities will have to deal with tons of vehicles and people. So I think they are doing the worst possible, and encouraging a way worse world... |

A promise of paradise with no backup whatsoever is an easy tool to guide the masses into following one's conception and, preferably, contributing to one's budget raise. |

Speaking of Papo, I'm annoyed that I lost my Oviraptor figure and can't find it anywhere! My parents owe me a replacement Ovi. |

Yes, but they're the ones with the money. If I had any money, then yes, I would be the one responsible for buying a new one.

I'm personally a very monogamous person, and I feel that cheating on your spouse is one of worst things anyone can do. It is a huge betrayal and I have no respect for people who do that. However, consensual polygmay, as in where everyone involved is fine with it, I have no problem with.
So much thumbs up here. Frankly, I support not breeding at all. Let us die out. We're a disease to the planet. Not that I'll ever have to worry about reproducing too much ![]() |
