I am completely pro-internet freedom but some organisations should get an internet ban.
having autism this offends me rather personally
of course I've always hated PETA

PETA, also known as;
Spoiler: click to toggle
are just huge idiots
these people make me ashamed to admit I care about animal welfare

they had a campaign calling pokemon animal abuse, and yet they also have several campaigns glorifying mario despite the fact mario stomps animals to death

they also fail to realize its even a possibility for someone to have a pet besides a cat/dog and care for it properly
or that catch and release fishing is a thing
or that culling, while sad, is necessary to preserving the ecology of the region following overpopulation

if PETA had their way, everyone would sit around objectifying women and watching porn 24/7 while leaving the environment to "fix itself"

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

I'm lying down, a ant crawls up my shirt and bites me. IT STINGS!?

and I'm not too sure PETA even knows what Autism is.... or what Autism Spectrum Disorder is (including Asperger's syndrome, Rett syndrome, PDD-NOS, childhood disintegrative disorder, etc.)

Why is autism even seen as an issue? I enjoy having aspergers TBH, it suits me better than the boring life of a normal person.

This never happened.

1. Define normal person.
2. Rethink your statement.

I realize that post may be offensive to some. I apologize, and come to think of it I can't exactly define what makes a normal person. I take back what I said.

On a related note, being idiotic enough to post things that I will later realize are stupid, offensive, or both.

Peta story time!!!!

I had a friend who runs a kennel that trains dogs for the Rcmp and Search and Rescue.
He had two girls who came and were causing trouble because he refused to neuter his male dogs and they believed working dogs is bad for them.

(Just so you know you should never neuter a GSD or a large male due to the fact they grow to tall and have a 72% of bone cancers due to the lack of hormones... stuff in my industry you learn about..)

Anyways back to the story. They were from PETA. After lecturing this poor guy for an hour they left and said they would be back to picket his kennel. After they left he got a call about two girl who were lost in the bush locally and if he could bring his dog Jackson out to assist. An hour later he found them quickly .. and yep it was the two girls who had been to his property early. They took a wrong turn and got lost. They were scared and looking rather humble that they would not have been found so fast in not for Jackson.

The next day he got a fruit basket on his door with a Sorry and Thank you note. They learned a lesson that day <_<....

@Rezcall, What do you mean by large dog? Is a shar-pei mix considered a large dog? I was considering neutering him but it might not be such a god idea now...

Any dog over 40 lbs - if you are considering there are two things you do to help him.

Only neuter after he is a YEAR. The later - the better. I ALWAYS tell clients two years.

Two look at all your options. There are non surgical ways to do it now - look up Zeuterin.
Its a injection he gets or consider laser neuters.

Normality doesn't exist; it is just a concept that varies according to personal opinion and changes with time.
The ideal of estabilishing an universal concept of Normality it's just an utopy which only increases pre-existing conflicts.

I may have used an unfortunate choice of words, but my point was that all the concern over "those poor kids" is largely unneeded IMO, because in fact I am still perfectly capable of living a fulfilling life and have no problem whatsoever with my aspergers-ness. :P

Though there are people with aspergers/autism who are rendered nigh-unable to properly communicate, so I can understand feeling sorry for them (I too feel sorry for those people).

Normal describes itself. Any so called normal about you is actually abnormal as 1 in a millionth people share you qualities. I don't know how to explain it but V-sauce has created an interesting video on "normal".

This is the video explaining normal.
