annoys me when people think its "oh so horrific" that some places eat dog
I get if you don't want to eat it, thats fine, but people who actively denounce other cultures because they eat dogs just makes me so mad
While I believe everyone should respect others cultures and not judge base on differences.

It's not really all that surprising, dogs and cats to many people in 1st world countries are considered family members, alot of people incapable of having children of socializing with other people turn to these animals for a sense of companionship.

By your logic, cannibalism used to be apart of some tribal cultures and we should let that continue.
uuuummmm.... NO >_<
my logic does not say that cannibalism should be left to exist because its "part of someones culture"

my logic is that dogs and cats should not be regarded so much higher than other animals

some people have pet chickens or horses, yet do they condone north american culture as being unmoral because of it?
I've eaten dog, and that makes me no worse as a person than someone who's eaten chicken

@ Rezcall, thats about the living costs of NS, a lot cheaper than the rest of Canada
quite possibly because we are geographically so much closer the the USA than (some parts of) BC or Ontario

@ as for stereotypes, I see police officers (traffic officers specifically) eating donuts when on duty a lot, but there is actual logic behind it
-if you work with periods of little movement yet wanting to keep attentive, its likely you will want coffee
-if you work long hours, its likely you will want food
-donuts are sold with coffee

Ooo I agree with this one!

@ stargatedalek - That is why I said back east is cheaper - I used to live in Moncton. I love it in NB and NS - they still have small town living.....

I wouldn't say small town where I am, then again, this is Halifax municipality (not Halifax itself tho)
its not exactly urban sprawl, but the properties are typically just a few hundred feet square, if that

perhaps compared to where you live its open since IDK how dense it is

Having to go to work when I have a billion things I'd rather be doing right now.

Like starting variant skins for all those birds...

school...
if only courses were more fluent, allowing just learning things that you will end up using instead of focusing on things with little to no practical application for the average person and barely teaching the sort of things that are actually useful
IE instead of teaching you how to balance books, they teach you how to do overly complex algebra, and then only touch on practical applications for a single class, no joke, a single class

I get its good to know these sorts of things, but they should be whats barely touched on in the mandatory courses and left for the selective math courses, whereas the mandated courses should focus on practical applications

Your benevolent ruler

When Tumblr bugs out and causes you to accidentally reblog the same post like 10 times xD

That person that constantly interjects their unsolicited and oft misinformed opinion and continues to rant about said misinformed opinion that wasn't even a topic of the conversation they weren't included in but decided to but into anyway.

Not afraid of them, but I do hate when I find plenty of them stuck on my fishing line, how are fish supposed to eat my bait if it's hidden under a bunch of weed ?

or even worse, you get a bite while trying to pull all those plants in, and theres no hook to set since the fish took a chunk out of the weeds xD

also, when a fish goes after your leader instead of lure

I love painting and really want to get my models painted, it's just so frustrating painting the same exact thing twenty or thirty times over to get an entire unit to match, this is why I like Monsters more than units
