To be on the other end of the spectrum I was probably one of those people that always got paired up with someone more smart and more efficient than me in group work in order to encourage me to do more. The sad thing is I was either paired up with someone I absolutely loathed or with someone I liked to be around, so I was stuck between either not giving a damn or just messing around. Although it does annoy me when people who do absolutely nothing in group work have the decency and audacity to lie and say they did something or other when in reality someone else did all the work for them. At least I had enough gall to say I did jack all... even though the teachers really didn't appreciate it.

For one of the people I'm usually paired up with, I do pretty much most of the work so far and I ask him to do some of it and he says something along the lines of "I'm doing all of the work here", while he did about 5% of it -.-

Nah man I had the worst of it. We were doing some film re-enactment in my reel history class on a scene of the movie called Blood Simple (really good movie btw). So I said I would do the script and unfortunately we have a mixed class of sophomores, juniors, and a handful of seniors. So the junior girl in my group was gonna edit the video since she has iMovie (I have the L33T Windows master race). So then we finished filming, I did the script and then she sent in the "finished" project and it was absolute sh#t. There was no ambient music, she didn't cut the scenes (like for whenever we said cut or action) and left all the outside sound in. I then asked for them to send in the files so that I could attempt to convert to work on another similar program for windows. I stayed up till 3 trying to get all types of video formats to work to no avail. So I had to clutch up like the responsible senior that I am and I worked on it for about an hour in my other history class (I was already done with all the work in that class early so my teacher is a boss and let me work on it,he is the real MVP). I got a 28/30 on it at least, and I basically did everything. Had to carry the underclassmen because they couldn't do jack. I'm not surprised I made it well with no evidence of rushing. Digital media film class experience really helped.

Thank god we never had classes like that in my old school, otherwise I sincerely probably would have thrown someone out the window. When I slacked off it was down to mundane prep work and planning, when it was something more practical I would get all hands on sometimes because it was the only thing I was somewhat decent at, something I could cling onto to get me past all the other topics I was failing at the time. That was my secondary school, though. I didn't quite have all the life sucked out of me then.

Now I doss around full time. The joys of being in college, where I now get to re-enact your story exactly, reiterated with a bunch of people who I barely know nor really want to and a teacher that quite frankly hates me on a media course heading for disaster.

10/10 would cry again.

They are elective classes. I had to take just 3 classes this year technically but I went for 2 more for more credits. But I was really tempted to tell the teacher that they basically didn't do anything. They did provide me the source material but you know what I mean. But well, I'm graduating so I don't care lmao. They have two more projects to do before their year is over and I'm out, so they can screw up on their own 😂😂😂

My digital media film course was dank though. Took it sophomore year. We had so much freedom and could re-enact almost any movie. We directed a scene from Hot Rod and lets just say it was interesting to say "you're getting your d*ckhole smashed" and getting an A for top notch acting lol.
Hopefully if I decide to take a class like that for more credits it doesnt go badly.

Anyways, I get you on the laziness prospect.I like slacked off but clinged on to what I was good at. Unfortunately, I missed over like a month of school this year (accumulative) for just not caring and slacked off. I would still have an A since I did the work, got excuse notes (for being "sick") and sent it through email. But my teacher (who's a Marvel nerd and is cool af to talk to) had a lot of patience with me and other days just straight up tell me that my attendance was horse shyet and that I shouldn't even bother turning in work. So I'm happy for having good teachers. Gotta pay them back somehow but I don't know how. 😕
If you had my teachers they would have been more easy on you, like passively aggresive on you. "You're lazy, but you're not a dumbass at least
and you're a good student". It makes me appreciate that I didn't go to one of those trash ghetto high schools in which the teachers would be mediocre and not give a crap.

When people are like "I got *insert high grade here* in the *insert subject you suck in* test. What did you get?"

And when they hear your score they be like "But it's sooo easy!"

...

Well, would you like a f***ing medal then, mate?

I would never do that to my fishes.
Actually, they were the ones biting my fingers as soon as I gave them the chance.

Hearing people say that the newly built nature park is so beautiful and they start talking about being more green,

..but then they throw their litter everywhere as they leave.

You sick hypocrites.
