And how can you be sure they'll do that?

I can't be sure.
But how do you define someone as being rich? Say I have 0 dollars, and you have 1,000 dollars. To me, you're rich. I think the government will increase taxes for everyone because there is no possible way of defining someone as being "rich." It's an extremely vague term.

Are you sure. I think they would increase taxes for people with many million or billions of dollars.

The government would tax higher rates for people with larger amounts of money. For example, a person working for the minimum wage would be taxed less than people making, say, $200,000 a year. And the person making $200,000 would be taxed less than someone making $1,000,000 a year.

And Socialism includes welfare and free education that is paid through taxes. I know that some Northern European countries implement this, and they're doing well in education and the overall health of the population, two things that are a current issue in the U.S.

^Not only Northern European countries, basically all EU-countries have implemented many socialist policies, including those who are not doing too well economically (Spain, which has one of the best healthcare systems in the world, Italy, Greece). Most of the European countries had a majority-socialist government at some point ;)

In fact, Sanders wants to increase minimum wage, which would undoubtedly help poor people. In fact, he wants to tax large corporations extra, and invest that money in lowering taxes for small businesses. He wants to end offshore banking, and invest the taxes he gets from that, again, in the US middle and lower class.

However some of his policies I don't exactly agree with. First of all, he doesn't believe the US should lead the efforts against Daesh, which I find ridiculous. If you let Russia lead, Assad stays leader of Syria, and even then Daesh probably stays alive in Iraq. If Saudi Arabia gets to lead the fight, we get a radical Sunni government in Syria...comparable to Daesh themselves, albeit a bit less cruel. Iran leads the fight? Shia government ruling a Sunni people. Sure, that's going to end well, just as well as it did in Iraq.
He wants to decriminalize marijuana, which even though is not incredibly harmful, I don't think should be legalized.

And then there's matters where both sides will probably never agree. Gun reforms and abortion. I think the US is divided in half by these issues (mostly divided between pro-gun/pro-life and anti-gun/pro-choice), perhaps slightly tilting towards the latter? Anyway, sensitive matters on which Sanders is very strong-minded. I can see another Congress strike if he becomes president.

Still an incredibly better option than any Republican candidate though.

Another bus related post, when people with pushchairs/child buggies get on a bus, some of those things take up so much that the person takes at least three attempts to get into place.

And when you wall on FB gets swamped with snow related posts.

When our school doesn't make any desktop shortcuts to basic programs like Microsoft Word and IE (we aren't allowed to download chrome or firefox on school computers -.-). Every time again we have to open three maps, then open word.

And the best part is, if you do make a desktop shortcut, it's deleted the next day :D

When kids these days don't even know the meaning of the word respect.

I was at a store today and saw a couple of kids, aged around 9-13, running around the store and bumping/shoving everyone. They run past an old lady with a cane and knock her over. A store employee was with the lady at the time and helped her back up and some customers came running to check up on her.

The kids kept running around the store in circles and were confronted by a couple of the employees who asked them to leave and escorted them out.

The mother was confronted as well and spat out the SAME line that every unsupervising parent says.

"They were just being kids! I don't know why you're being so harsh on them!"

Vegetarians and their PETA videos on facebook.
(It's mainly vegans)

I thought we didn't speak of the PETA. Or anything related to it. Don't forget the list of celebrities who support them. Try something like the ASPCA, who actually care about animal welfare instead of that lovely turkey I ate yesterday or the fact I enjoy my local zoo.

Did you know that the PETA believes milk causes autism and they blocked someone on Twitter for correcting their information?

Well there's really no reason to even drink milk in the first place at this age but autism is not the reason.
