When you hear what seems a bird of prey call and you look out of the window, and it turns out it's just another starling mimicking it.

One time I was in my dads car, he had the radio on it was a mothers day weekend and there was an old woman on the radio complaining about mothers day, that she didn't understand why it has now become something to celebrate, that it wasn't such a big deal when she was a child, and why nobody had ever celebrated or sent her anything on mothers day. Then the radio presenters asked her if she has any children, and her reply was "no".

What the .... she rants about mothers day and why she's never received any attention on that day, only to reveal, she has no children. I think the 'not having children' might be the reason, you either need to have a mother, or be a mother to celebrate mothers day, that's the whole idea of "MOTHERS day", the same with fathers day.

When people show no respect for the fish they catch and brutally ruin them.

Poor fish, that's awful :/

Really for me whenever I see someone deliberately hurting an animal and not caring. I absolutely can't stand that.

On the other hand, I hate it when people share images of abused animals hoping to get likes on social media. It really diminishes the impact of animal abuse.

PewDiePie

That deranged man child killed Bear Simulator. I didn't even know how much of a nut job he was until recently. I usually watch Sl1pg8r and the other ARK Pooping Evolved peeps and the occasional Jacksepticeye and Markiplier depending on the game. So I had no clue about how crazy and unentertaining PewDiePie was. He even has his own YouTube Red show called "Scare PewDiePie" . Which just goes to show how overly famous this loon is

Although not as annoying as ^ . Carebear Rexes on The Isle. They kill any predator that tries to survive (One killed me while I was a Carno trying to catch a Raptor) . And what is worse is when someone questions them they say things like "I payed for the game so I can play however I like" but if someone kills them or one of there buddies they start complaining and say thing like "You can't play like that because I don't like it and I said so" . I'm sorry but I don't like sitting around watching the grass grow or having sex with a Shantu while I am a Rex. Fortunately Progression should wipe them off the planet

^ Agreed. I used to watch him when he was still starting out because the content was more than just him screaming. But now I can't watch him at all, he's so annoying now.

She just isn't a good representative of the transgender community in my opinion. She has to make everything a big deal and it just brings negative attention to the community as a whole. There are plenty of better Trans representatives like Laverne Cox or the Wachowskis.

I wouldn't call that a "lack of respect", I think catch and release fishing is all about respecting the fish. Injuries are inevitable (especially when using triple hooks) and nothing to get so emotional over. I've had to put back fish with some pretty nasty injuries before (far worse than a torn barbel and some nasty bruising), these things just happen.

Only Caitlyn, not Bruce anymore. :)

She is definitely not the best representative, but because of her fame in sports she steals the spotlight. She is a bit overrated, and exxagerated, but why would anyone be nauseated tho? I think she is genuinely okay, haven't heard anything to the contrary.

On topic: Blatant homophobes and transphobes. There be some who will intentionally add the pronoun 'he' to a transgender female and 'she' to a transgender male. Like, even when corrected, that person will persist in using the wrong pronoun.

And this Indian middle aged-man on the comments section of a youtube video in which people around India's city Bangalore was being asked about their opinions of the spectrum of sexuality. He wrote something inbetween the lines of homosexuals being as bad as rapists and should be brutally hacked to death because they bring disgrace to the Indian culture.

Ya Indian culture my rear end, the land inventing *cough* positions, and probably even kissing and considering homosexuals as sacred. Where did the ancient culture go, I want it back!

Star, those things happen because people are incompetent or just don't take their time to properly remove the hook (especially in contests) and just rip it off, along with some chunks of flesh and even bone. Injuries like those are perfectly avoidable if you look into removing the hook carefully, even with triple hooks (single barbless hooks should be always preferred anyway), and if you really can't just ask for help. I've never caused damage to fish like those and even worst like the ones I commonly see in areas where fishing pressure is heavy.
And it makes absolutely no sense to release a fish with an injury that can handicap it for life, like a split jaw or similar: carps can survive because they are really hardy (and still doesn't excuse such barbarian acts), but other species are much more delicate and will perish if you treat them that way. That's why sportfishing lakes, which are usually frequented mainly by such savages, stock almost exclusively carps, catfish and other "immortals" like those.

Japan had something similar happen too. There was a lot of acceptance up until relatively recently (historically speaking) when Britain tried to convert the entire world and spread their "holy" words of racism and homophobia. People there are in general pretty accepting now days from what I've heard, but the government still hasn't legalized gay marriage (last I heard supposedly in favour of promoting a general civil union instead, but such has yet to come into being).

*edit*

It's still better to release an injured fish than pointlessly keep it when I have no use for it. I once had a young smallmouth bass foul hooked in the eye, a freak accident no fault of mine but I released it anyway. The thing was maybe eight inches long, I have a goldfish that big, not exactly a fish worth mounting or eating, and at the time I didn't have a tank large enough to keep it.

Another time I had a trout come after a lure way to small for it and the hooks lodged halfway outside of its damn gill slits. Took about a half hour of bending hooks to get them out and I had to cut the line and pull them out the rest of the way through the gill flap. The fish and my hand were both a complete mess afterwards. Never used triple hooks since but I still released that trout and it still shot off faster than most fish I've caught do.

It's one thing when such stuff happens by accident, but too many times it isn't. A hook in the eye or down the throat it's understandable, but if the fish is hooked on the lip or in the jaw there's no reason to cause it massive damage. It requires just patience, and in the worst case you can just cut the hook with pincers.

Oh ok, I'm still uncertain such wounds can be so specifically attributed to that (who's to say it wasn't a kid who was having difficulty taking the hook out, or even that those fish didn't throw the hook themselves), but just mindlessly ripping it out is indeed idiotic. I bet they ruin a lot of their own equipment doing that too.
