It's either Gorilla or Gigantopithecus, and if they do share, it's Gorilla, and that's only a natural choice with this species. |

I really like it, but I do hope that you'll start adding some more stages to your animals in the future. The transition between a small baby and a huge adult is too big in some animals. ![]() Of course this might slow down the "fast release" but at least you'll get a better animal. ![]() Here's a tutorial about it, I assume you're skilled enough to learn how it works. |

I agree if you could figure out how to add another stage that would be awesome. It could also lead to you moving on to other coding stuff. I like your models and I like the detail in your skins also.

Thank yo all for the comments! Yes, as Iben said, New life stages are needed for some animals, like, for example, Ceratopsians (acording to a documentary i recently saw), deer, big nest birds like ostrich, Bigger animals like whales and maybe Elephants or enormous theropods and sauropods (even i didn't add them to mine) and of course talking of human. But i think you are exagerating in some places (like cats, dogs, fish, almost all animals that are less than 3 mts height, apes, etc) because, mainly, of sizes diferencies, since in a lot of these species are as big while juvenile than in adult and are as sexually active as adults, so the only diferences are youngs and, maybe, hatchings and newborns, but those two are useless in the game ![]() Talking about Gaming and in-game aspects, adding life stages reaaly slows down the game, and it some times get maddening waiting for these "juveniles" to grow into adults, whichs also slows down testing. And again, as i said before, what is the use of having juveniles that are almost at the same size of adults and have almost same behabiours whit the only diference it won't mate any time, when i can simply skiop that life stage and go directly to the grown stage? It's more confortable while gaming. So, i'm not saying that it's uselles, but just that it's not needed in some cases. I'll add them? may be yes, acording to the creation, but not always . This one won't however, since the codding is already done.

Hmmm, this is actually quite untrue, xmls weigh less than skin files on your game. Take that from a Computer Science student lol. XMLS are mainly the settings for your game engine, in the end it's mostly the models and the skins that slow down your game. But keep one thing in mind, each animal on earth has a juvenile stage, so adding them can add some extra realism, there's nothing "exaggerating" about it haha There's more than just a size and a few small behavior differences. I understand you prefer not to put the effort in it, that's okay.

I was not actually talking about "slowing down the game" was not refering to performance stuff, but for ing-game aspects of breedeng and life styles. I mean, some people (i know some ) loves to breed animals, and hey get really anoyed when the animals don't reproduce, or they have bugs when breedeng or growing. And it's some times anoying when the animals grow slooooowly or it appears they won't ever grow. Juvenile stages some times add that anxiouness, and, as i said before, it's not nescesarry for severall animals. And, please, avoid finishing posts saying people are lazy
