Talking about Gaming and in-game aspects, adding life stages reaaly slows down the game,
Hmmm, this is actually quite untrue, xmls weigh less than skin files on your game. ;) Take that from a Computer Science student lol. XMLS are mainly the settings for your game engine, in the end it's mostly the models and the skins that slow down your game.

But keep one thing in mind, each animal on earth has a juvenile stage, so adding them can add some extra realism, there's nothing "exaggerating" about it haha :P There's more than just a size and a few small behavior differences.

I understand you prefer not to put the effort in it, that's okay. :)
I was not actually talking about "slowing down the game" was not refering to performance stuff, but for ing-game aspects of breedeng and life styles. I mean, some people (i know some :P ) loves to breed animals, and hey get really anoyed when the animals don't reproduce, or they have bugs when breedeng or growing. And it's some times anoying when the animals grow slooooowly or it appears they won't ever grow. Juvenile stages some times add that anxiouness, and, as i said before, it's not nescesarry for severall animals.

And, please, avoid finishing posts saying people are lazy ;)
How does it slow it down? It should take the same exact amount of time for an animal to grow from baby to adult, wether there is a juvenile stage or not. Infact I'd have to say it growing to juvenile makes it seem faster, as its less wait between the stages. I agree not all need it, however a lot do. Infact I understand some coding advancements don't add much fun. However I think the majority like juvenile stages. As its different as you can have different age animals then. You can document there growth more. I know a lot were dissapointed when the first AD pack got released and only a few animals had juvenile stages. Basically I feel if an animal triples in size from baby to adult it needs a juvenile stage. Unless the animal is smaller then a labrador and has no skin changes.

You can edit each individual life stage length. So if you want it to go faster, just edit that, it's not that hard xD Besides, some animals just grow slower than others in real life too :p But what CRG mentioned is completely correct, it doesn't make it grow slower, it makes it grow faster because the transitions between the baby and the adult are shorter now, though the overall length is still the same :p

I wasn't saying you were lazy, I'm just saying that I don't mind if you don't want to put the effort in it. ;) Besides, it's not a whole lot of effort, 3 extra xmls and a small part you edit in the tsk. Of course you're not lazy if you don't want to do that, you don't have to. I fully respect that. ;)

It was only to help you improve coding wise, which is something I believe you still need to work on :p And that's the only thing I can help you with/criticize you on, because I know I'm not a good skinner nor a good mesher, so I can't say what you should improve on that, because I still need to improve on it myself :P But coding is something different lol xD

I AM THE UNSHRINKWRAPPER!

Bunyupy, I'll have to file an arrest warrant for you. It's against the law to kill people, even if the weapon of choice was sheer awesomeness. This is amazing- I love how the colours change as it gets older. What biome is it? It'd be cool if it changed as it got older, if that's possible.
