Nice to read about that. There were expansion packs earlier, but that one was the biggest IMHO.

You could possibly take in-game photos of some of the extinct animals. At least for some of them, if PU and PD still apply for those kinds of things, which I assume it does. |

It would be possible, but taking ingame pics for every animal would take a long time and effort, and it doesn't solve the other problem; if I use an ingame pic of say the WWD velociraptor, that sign would look weird if you are using a different velociraptor, and there are many of them. |

I think using images from the Internet would be best. I understand what you are saying Lgcfm. |

Lgcfm this is incredible. Thanks for the release. And for the EA critters maybe you could use a silhouette with a person standing next to it for scale.

Amazing job Lgcfm. You are awesome love the bonus as well. On the dinosaurs if you release the pack just put down what dinosaurs your using like Hendrex WWD or Thoms Ichthyosaurus. That way those who use it would know. |

I'd just use skeletons in that case. Since we don't have a full, complete grasp of a vast majority of extinct species, I think skeletal/silhouette pictures and/or the same formats in size comparisons would work. |

RELEASE 20 ES Signs ![]() These non-remakes will also activate these signs: Giant Sable Antelope (MiBound) American Bison (JimmyzHoopz) Fennec Fox (ZTSF Designs) Bornean Orangutan (Bill & Thom) African Wild Dog (Sim'Z) I'll be placing all future signs in this dropbox folder. As always many thanks to Iben and Thom for the original! Small note, AD renamed the ES wolf to "Eastern Timber Wolf", but I ended up making the sign for Gray Wolf instead. Honestly this is because I coiuldn't find reliable sources for the other one (picture, distribution, conservation status, taxonomy). I should have AA done soon, and then MM. I want to use the blue template for MM because I think this one doesn't look too good for aquatic animals. Thanks everyone for the ideas for EA, I hadn't thought of using the scale silhouettes, I'll see how it turns out. Also thinking of making some time period icons. |

I made the time period icons (you can redownload the grey template). There are 16 of them, for the same ones we used at the Download Library, divided in three subfolders: Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic for easy finding. I used these colors. This is roughly how extinct animal signs would look:

Just wanted to say you've inspired me to make some of these signs! So far I've created ones for: - Bobcat - Canada Lynx - Pallas's Cat - Serval - Ocelot. Im sort of going for animals not by RR but ones that are still common downloads in the community! Your guides are really useful but I have one question? To get it into the .dds form by downloading that programme. Once opened in it how do I save it as a .dds as there a multiple options? Anyways, amazing signs! |
