Every animal can carry disease. Not just cats. Dogs can get canine distemper or rabies, birds get the avian flu, pigs get the swine flu,and rabbits get tularemia. There's no animal that cannot carry diseases. Edited by Guat, Mar 7 2015, 01:49 PM.

Every animal has bacteria on them ![]() Though you are right, most cats don't have a whole lot of diseases and viruses, aside from of course the ferals. Edit: we are vastly off topic lmao Edited by Admiral General Aladeen, Mar 7 2015, 01:47 PM.

For once AVCDPS I agree although dogs are more indoors so it's a low chance for them to carry one! If you see a dog foaming, it means it has rabies so stay alert and call animal experts edit: before i get caught by the grammar police! LOL I sound like a teacher or what not! Cats are the ones who are more indoors than dogs. Small Dogs might be indoors but Large Dogs require time to be outside. |

Have you seen other Countries in the world? Cats are always outside as a result from people not caring or forgetting! Dogs are kept on leashes and unless cats one day suddenly follow our orders, they get more sickness than dogs! did you know DOGS are the only non-primate animal to look us humans in the eye |

You mean feral cats, they are more common then feral dogs but still you won't have that problem if you care for your cat and keep it indoors. Dogs aren't always kept on leashes FYI. There's something called herding and hunting dogs. Dogs don't always listen to us either and there are some cats that listen to humans. |

Anyway, some people just like cats better. I don't see why you find it so necessary to persuade us to change our opinion on them. |

I'm sorry but you have been giving me an attitude AND have been attacking me all morning! Is this all because of grammar? Because I want it to stop thank you! (For ACDPS)

I have and you know what. In Guatemala I have seen no stray cats. Only stray dogs. Seems that you should have looked at other countries as well. I'm not a dog hater, I prefer to keep dogs as pets than cats actually because dogs are usually more energetic, but your posts Blazy are full of misconceptions. |
