So, a lot of you people think Texas is nothing but a desert.

I knew that. I was being sarcastic.

However most of the time my sarcasm isn't obvious.

TBH I wouldn't call that a desert.
Large portions of Italy have a similar environment, and no one calls them deserts.
Mediterranean scrub, maybe.

Italy will obviously have mediterranean scrubs, but I believe the pictures of Texas are semi-deserts. We have a lot of them here.

On topic: Listening to Sia - Big Girls Cry. Yeah, that is going in another topic, but still it's my STATUS. Oh, and eating mangoes. Not sweet, but Yum.

Actually some people call the chaparrals here desert, one of my history teachers even said LA was a desert so I had to tell him it was chapparal. This isn't Palm Springs.

Well, of course it wouldn't be Mediterranean, but still, some kind of scrubland, I'd say.

Back to the "deserts": To be honest I would really love to live there or at least visit places like that sometimes. White pines everywhere makes the Northeast a little boring :P

Also I've just returned from the pet store. They had a few crested geckos on sale but I didn't want to get one and then go away for a week right after. :(

I'd much prefer a place like that to here. It's too hot and dry :P Where I lived in Canada wasn't even like that. It was all white spruce, which can be very ugly IMO.
