I started a journal today... not sure where I'll go with it, but I'm glad I did. Feels good to write my thoughts somewhere.

Lol, you guys. ![]() Well, i'm excited to finally have an active PM box again. It's been ages since i've had active convos going on with a bunch of different people. Yaaaaay for friends. ![]() I'm also trying to decide if I should give a sneak-peek of the zoo i'm working on. It's no-where near completion yet, though, so maybe I should wait a bit longer first...

i'd like to see it. horrible weather has returned here. it's may yet it looks like november, something never seen before. and of course i can't go fishing because of this: all the rivers and channels are off because the water is too murky, fast and high. might return to the sportfishing lake of Monster carps and Sturgeons, although this will mean loosing some money. i wish there were sportfishing lakes here like those in England; big, with lots of foliage in and out of the lake, clear water and beautiful (mostly native) species instead of the usual carps and sturgeons everywhere |

Ugh, yesterday was awful, but my sister did graduate, so that was cool. ![]() Anyways, just sitting here, listening to music, drinking lemonade and relaxing after a rather busy week.

So I was doing a google search for Tusoteuthis because I was trying to figure out what kind of environment it lived in so I could draw a picture of it, but then I stumbled across a picture of my stuffy Giant Squid that I got during a trip to Vancouver a few years ago. At first I was like "Hey look, it's Thomas Jettison! " But then I started to wonder why it came up in a search for an extinct giant vampire squid and so I clicked on the link and sure enough it listed it as a Tusoteuthis. I was like because I just thought he was a normal giant squid. So I discovered that one of my favourite stuffies was not an ordinary giant squid (Architeuthis dux) but a prehistoric shallow-water mosasaur-eating giant vampire squid (Tusoteuthis longa.) I can't decide whether to be thrilled or dumbfounded.By the way here's a picture of the stuffy squid:

working on a new zoo. it's almost finished, just a few edits to the building. i won't show it before CZG is over though (and it's far from being), mainly because i may need some stuff from Crook and other people to be released. |

Update: poor Chili is now resting after trying to eat herself for the last half hour. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

It aggravates me to no end when people misidentify animals. I'm searching for Caribou pictures and so far I've seen a Thomson's Gazelle, Asian Water Buffalo and a Bongo, a BONGO show up in the results, they look NOTHING like a Caribou. What is this, like I don't even. |

Annoyed at bird logic. The carolina wrens nested in our barn again this year and the fledglings are trying to leave the nest... at the worst possible time, in the middle of a giant storm. I keep putting them back in the nest and they just fly out again
