Pull my finger!

I made a Wikipedia account to fix some taxonomic shizz up, apparently a BANDit had invaded and removed "Dinosauria" from birds, so I'll have to restore as much as I can. I got both ostrich species put in already but sadly "Struthio" has some weird automatic taxobox thing that prevents me from doing so. :/

UPDATE: A few more birds have been done. I have to wait 4 days due to certain pages being "semi-protected" and to be approved, fortunately certain articles don't have that protection so.... time to edit.

UPDATE 2: Someone said to "stop editing articles". I guess BANDits are much more rampant throughout Wikipedia than I feared.

UPDATE 3: Made a page for Laophis, hopefully that'll re-win their hearts.

It's short for "Birds Are Not Dinosaurs." Basically they're people who disagree with all established science and think birds are more closely related to lizards or something like that.

Pull my finger!

AJ summed it up perfectly. :)

I just made another page, if you want to check it out go ahead:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_house_cricket

Surprised these fellows don't have their own page yet.

I'm too paranoid about my chickens.

I went out to the store and bought 3 locks with keys for my chicken coop. I saw stories about people breaking into chicken coops and either stealing the chickens or hurting/killing them for fun or revenge.

Nobody is gonna get my hens. Nobody.

Wow, I'm not at this level of mastery in Latin yet. I'll get there eventually.

What the heck does that mean. I know it does with philosophy, nudity, definitions, Romans, something about an African Consul, and benevolence.

I used to be that good, but that was when I had latin at school.
Without the need to practice it, I lost my skills.

Phoenixtiger: I wish you the best of luck, chicken stealing is returning frequent here too.

I would also suggest setting up some tripwire traps using some wire and bells. That way if anyone gets to close to your chickens they step on/touch the wire and cause the bell to ring. So that way the animal would be noticed and get the heck out of there. Or if it's a person end up getting seen so you would be able to recognize him/her. You would need to set up a few. Setting up a ring (Get it? Bell. Ring?) around the coup. Then maybe one in front of each door/hatch. It would be smart to do that as locks don't always work. As people could just bust through chicken wire using something sharp. And raccoons have been known to reach through the wiring and grab chicks or ducklings (Someone on YouTube ended up having to euthanize his Duck after a raccoon reached through the wiring and broke its neck but didn't actually kill it) . Setting up a fence around the coup if you haven't already is also a good idea. Especially one sturdy enough to handle someone trying to cut through it and with a curve on top to raise difficulty for someone to climb in. I know how much you love your chickens. I can understand that. I have quite a few cats and if anyone ever so much as touched one of them I would search the entire planet, pole to pole, trying to find that person and give him a peice of my mind and a foot where it hurts most. Because to me these cats are family. Many have been with us since they were just tiny kittens. I know for a fact you feel the same way with your chickens. They're aren't just your pets. They're your family. And you must do everything you can to keep them safe. Whether it's staying out in the freezing snow making sure they stay warm. Making sure they are all healthy. To even keeping a really ill one in the house raising it back to health until the day comes that it can be reunited with the flock. I know you would probably be willing to wrestle a Fox down if it snatched one of your beloved birds. Now please make sure they stay safe. I know you can do it PhoenixTiger
