I've been messing around with the mustang download. I managed to make one of the horses have bright blue eyes. Looks cool.

You think that's bad. I've been through and seen worse.
I'm not really sure why that comment was necessary? I don't think I ever claimed I had it worst. If anything, I tried to be positive about it:

Nobody was really hurt though (minus both of us being shaken up, and me hitting my leg against the door when he hit me), so I can be grateful for that. :)
But for future reference, writing off someone's misfortunes just because you "had it worse" is pretty rude. It's like saying nobody should be happy because someone else was happier once.

Thanks to everyone that expressed concern. :) The insurance company ruled that I was not at fault, so we won't have to pay to get the car repaired, which is good news. Everyone I talked to was really nice about it, and made it easy on me, so things are going to be okay.

Found that old SpongeBob Christmas special on TV and now I have the song stuck in my head.
Hahaha same - I LOVE Spongebob *Santas coming tonight tonight...Santas coming tonight..."

Feeling better - popping vitamins like my life depended on it. I do not want to be sick for Christmas!
My birthday is tomorrow but we are not doing anything till the 18th as Hubby has the whole off just for me!
Hope I feel well enough to go bowling.

I'm turning 29 - better soak in my last years in my 20's ... Im getting old D=.

You think that's bad. I've been through and seen worse.

try having stage 4 neuroblastoma, two years of chemotherapy, 70% hearing loss, a brain tumor, and the difficulty of articulation and swallowing after having several nerves of your brain cut during surgery.

now that, good sir, is when you can have the audacity to claim you had "been through worse", or you can be a humble person with a sense of respect and not say you had it "worse".

And thank goodness insurance is covering it, Susan. Hope your car gets repaired soon. :like:

Buddy the Elf/Narukota did.

This conversation is getting pointless.

@Rez

I did when I was 2 years old. :P

You can read about it in my blog.

@Snitch

Well I'm sorry. Something in me just sparks when someone bluntly says "they had it worse" instead of showing a little sympathy or empathy to someone, as if they are unappreciative of what they have think they have it worse than the other.

Wow - my severe condolences on your serious health issues.
I wish you nothing but the best to heal and have a healthy life.
Good news is it happend when you were younger.

I'm half deaf - lost all my hearing on the right side.

I feel so bad for you - I probably have the most mental health issues here if that helps =/
I have been through some heavy heavy tar filled pools in my life.

Thank you very much, but don't worry, Rez. d: It's like it never happened.

I've fully recovered other than hearing loss (sucks, doesn't it. xD ) and slight difficulty in articulation and swallowing, in which I try my best to resolve it, but that doesn't bother me.

After what I've been through, it ticks me off when people they've 'had it worse'. They need to understand that they have to appreciate what they have because they have a lot compared to others.

I hope you'll be able to overcome your hearing loss on your right ear. I hear that there are surgeries for deaf people that can let them hear again. Maybe you could look into it.

Nah - because I am totally used to having one ear.
I finally just got my balance back in order after like 10 years.
I lost my hearing due to hearing infections. It would freak me out to hear everything again xD

With all due respect I'd like to disagree with your reaction.

Perhaps AVC (I am going to call you that forever :P ) didn't word it in a way you liked, but he was in a way saying the same thing- someone always has it worse than you. I'm in no way minimizing your past or present medical conditions but it's entirely possible that AVC could genuinely have it much worse than you. Point is, there is someone, probably even someone on this website, who has surprisingly had it far worse than you have. And they can say the same thing to you.

But there's really no point in measuring who's been further up the creek- because that's just not right.

That was basically my point. :P

True, someone has it far worse than you, but saying that is just plain rude.

A person can say that they broke their arm, but then someone rudely replies, "lmao i had it worse. i broke both my legs and my nose." instead of showing some respectful sympathy like "I'm sorry that you broke your arm."

I'm sure AVC didn't intend for it to sound rude and just worded it wrong, but there's a majority of people who do rudely reply with comments like that as if to direct all the attention to himself/herself.
