(Did you know that 2017 is the year of the fire chicken in some chinese thingy?)

Our family has started watching Stranger Things. We're on the fourth episode and it's so great.

I may try to get a ticket to Obama's farewell address, tickets are available on Saturday and the speech is a week from today.

I AM THE UNSHRINKWRAPPER!

I must be the only person on the planet who actually enjoyed 2016.

Just came back from Illinois... It was a great trip. Being stuck in a car for thirty-some hours with only short breaks for food, restrooms and hotels is a wonderful time for bonding with cousins.

Just got 65/65 points on my drama project I slaved over. I was afraid to ask my teacher for an extra day, but she gave me it and I didn't let her down.
We were supposed to [re-]design costumes from anything, whether it's established or not, and I decided to create two completely new characters (my mistake). This resulted in hours of planning and drawing since I didn't want to use the templates she gave us. In the end, my perseverance paid off and my day has been brightened up immensely.

Hey guys,

For New Year, I announced my degree plan to my family and friends. After a long while of searching other universities for a combination of all the stuff I want to do in one degree (game dev, web dev, 2d(anime)/3d(CGI) animation, filmography, e-music production, etc), it turns out that it was here in the University of Texas in Austin all along!

I'm officially aiming for a Bachelor's of Science in Art and Entertainment Technology (BSAET) degree in the Center of Arts and Entertainment Technology (CAET) at the University of Texas in Austin.

The program is divided into three sections:

• Music & Sound // e-music production for game, film, and theater. basically a dj like zedd or mashmello

• Game and Mobile Media Applications (GAMMA) // game development for computer and game/other apps for mobile

• New Performance Technologies // "...digital imagery, sound design and visual coding to create immersive and interactive environments. Students will work collaboratively to produce dynamic media for live events such as music concerts, sporting events and conventions. Students will learn methods for entertaining and communicating with audiences through multimedia produced from 3-D projection mapping, motion tracking, generative imagery and intelligent lighting."

CAET Career Outcomes

• Digital Artist/Animator (3D and 2D)
• DJ
• Freelance Musician/Commercial Musician
• Game/Level Designer
• Illustrator
• Integrated Media Producer/Technician
• Lighting Designer or Technician for Theatre, Sports, and Live Entertainment/Events
• Project/Product Manager
• Sound Designer or Technician for Theatre, Film, or Gaming
• Web Designer/Developer

While I'm really REALLY hyped about this, the only thing scaring me is the fact that I have to make a final project at the end of the program and demonstrate it at SXSW, which is a really popular music/entertainment festival here in Austin that plays music concerts and showcases new films and games.... and i have to showcase my film or game in front of nearly a million people. RIP ME

Also, my four of my friends, whom I've known for over 6 years and met online, are taking the same career plan as me (or unrelated), are all winding up here in Austin in the future for business, and plan on living and working with me after we graduate.

Thanks to my family and friends for their support, thanks to the friends that will be working alongside me,

...and thanks to the ZT2 modding community for inspiring me to pursue this successful career. :)

I just saw Princess Mononoke tonight in theaters.

I don't know what to say. Absolutely stunning and that ending was just beautiful.

This was the first time I've seen everyone in the room clap and cheer. It was just amazing.
