Engaged to be married :) Popped the question on vacation in Chicago. I now have a gorgeous chunk of carbon on my finger. :D

(He was gonna do it at the Field Museum in front of Sue, but I insisted on going to the Shedd Aquarium instead. Whoops!)
his plan was to propose to you under the bones of a dead dinosaur?
how romantic.

STILL, CONGRATULATIONS THOUGH. IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!

It would have been, as Sue is one of my favorite things to see in Chicago, and the Field Museum is one of my favorite places to visit... But I ruined it because ThErE aRe FiShEs OvER THerE BabE!

Also, I thought he was going to throw me in the lake when he was just trying to propose with a nice backdrop so I kept refusing to go over to where he was standing. He had to drag me. :D ROMANCE IS ALIVE KIDS.

Sue is a very popular place for stuff like that and she is very impressive. However, speaking from experience working there, the Sue docents are extremely territorial and will bite your head off if you do anything that could disrupt them :P

So today was the last day as counselor for Zoo Camp with all the kids. We were called the Native Navigators and talked about the native animals of our state, TN. The kids were crazy most of the week but I had a great time and they seemed to like me. They all gave me hugs before they left :) One of them did call me a *homicidal maniac* which I asked them what it meant and they didn't know :P There was also a running joke between the campers that the other counselor was my girlfriend. It got really out of hand and as a joke the other counselors and I planned a fake proposal in front of all of the kids. Long story short I proposed to a girl I had only known for five days with a ring pop in front of 30 7-9 year olds. It was hilarious! xD They had planned out the wedding on a piece of paper. It was adorable. Each of the counselors were in charge of 8-10 kids and I had a great time with all of them.

After being with my hubby for nine years I have given in and finally agreed to learn French. Its so hard...I feel like my head is going to explode. I am a week into lessons. Anyone on here want to help? I'm at baby beginner level still lol.

For physiotherapy they have me bike riding again. Oh yes. Feels good. My health is improving slowly.

No good hero is a one-trick phony.

Just got back from two weeks of camping for a field biology course. I had some very eye-opening experiences.

Turns out the cottage we went to in Cornwall had a router already installed, and all we had to do was set it up in order to use it. It's rather bizarre sat by the seaside with this able and strong an internet connection, but I'm not complaining.

Considering the fact that stepping outside practically boils me alive, I think I'll be staying inside the cottage for most of this holiday. Bude is nice and all, but I'd rather enjoy it whilst I'm not a puddle on the floor.
