How is everyone? It's been a long time since I had some good banter with my old friends from here.

Got home today after the exchange. It feels great to be home again, but I already miss all the friends I made there I won't easily see (because they live in other countries). |

I got to see it. It wasn't a total eclipse where I live but I still saw some of it. |

It was only 86% here... If you looked at the sun directly you couldn't even tell there was an eclipse happening. But it was really cool, nonetheless- The light got weird (like it was suddenly really early morning) and it cooled down a LOT, and the shadows were all funny, with crescent shapes in them. We couldn't find any eclipse glasses, so we scrounged up five pairs of sunglasses and wore 'em all at the same time. Worked quite well. |

I was going to say the exact same things about my experience, but you beat me to it. It was only 48% here, though, but I went to a gathering where they had a bunch of telescopes and eclipse glasses so it was still pretty fun.also don't look at the sun directly. u can hurt ur eyes real bad |
