So I had holidays which is why I've been missing (although I doubt any of you cared) and I had big plans. I was going to settle down and participate in Inktober this year! I've been wanting to do it so much since I discovered it last year in November. However I failed on the second day. Not only was I just not into inking but I just was unmotivated. I missed out on something I've waited a year for all because I was too lazy to dedicate 2 hours to drawing a simple image.

It's not like I have 6 or so other projects I have to complete. Now I'm adding another 2 projects I really want to do. A 9 part digital art series and a 6 day october spooktacular special to compensate for my inktober loss.

Can I have your opinions? What do you guys do when you have a project that needs finishing but dont feel motivated or bothered to do it? This happens to me all the time and I'm sick of not finishing projects that had potential.

So I had a weird dream last night. I work at a McDonalds, so it's not uncommon for my workplace to frequent my dreams lol

Basically, I was exploring this old creepy abandoned building and it all felt really familiar. Eventually, I came across this tiny room with a window at the end and when I reached the window I found it could slide back & forth to open it. That's when this goes from creepy to funny because while I'm exploring that room a lady drives up to the window, so I open it and she's like, "where's my food?" And I'm confused because I thought where I was was just an empty building, but now this random lady is complaining about how long it's taking for her to get her food. So I end up asking the lady what she ordered and she gets all offended because she's one of those snobbish people, and she snarkily points out that there's a bag on the table behind me and it's probably hers.

I get confused again because there wasn't a bag or a table before, but when I turn around everything isn't broken/cobwebby/etc. anymore and my boyfriend (who works there as a shift manager) is there and he's looking at me funny and asking why I haven't handed the lady her food. I then realized I was in the McDonald's drive-thru and the building wasn't a spooky abandoned asylum after all. Maybe I was on drugs in my dream. Who knows lol

Saw Blade Runner 2049 tonight. As someone who isn't the biggest fan of the original I enjoyed this very much. A strong cast, stunning visuals and score, and an engaging plot kept me hooked the entire time.

Seriously considering buying new headphones. The ones I have are great, possibly the best affordable model I know (Sennheiser HD202's), but they aren't LED-lit headphones with fully functional cat ear speakers.

Thinking about it twice I shouldn't waste my money on something I'll use three times before going back to the old but reliable...

Well, keep in mind colours don't always exist as words :P The violets are blue poem is from 1590, when the colour already existed, but purple didn't rhyme; prior to the apparition of purple as a colour, purple and blue were the same thing. In the same vein, the colour blue didn't exist in ancient Greece, so the sea is referred as 'wine-dark'.
