Guys, everyone has his/hers opinion on this. We've heard it, and we'll keep it in mind. But please stop this discusion now, before it gets out of control.

@MiBound, if you disagree with the way TRT is moderated, then leave the site? I'm pretty sure there are plenty other sites, like Taiga or ZooHispania. (I thought you had, but my mind must be playing tricks with me)

Excuse me, OF, didn't read that in time xD

That wouldn't mind the people themself. Just get some posts and you have your pointies back :/

But who was the one that started with this stuff. Who was the first one using hitler in his "jokes"
It's not important who started it. That person has been appropriately "punished" by the staff, yet some felt the need to declare that anything "critical" of another person's beliefs is also banned, which I find ridiculous. If someone is offended by something, they can report it, and a staff member can decide if it's worth handing out a warn over or letting the offended party know that the image was not so offensive or "over the line" that it warrants punitive action by staff.

That's part of what being a staff member is about--actively moderating the board and analyzing each situation as it comes. One person shouldn't be able to spoil it for everyone simply because they found criticism of their particular beliefs "offensive."

Criticism is NOT offensive unless you're a sheltered precious lamb who has never been exposed to dissenting, oppositional, or argumentative positions contrary to your own. Being criticized or finding a critical image, opinion, etc., "offensive" is completely ridiculous and seeing the staff capitulate to a tiny portion of the board who simply can't separate a disagreement with a vicious attack is disheartening.

So yeah. Still sitting here, being completely disappointed in this board.

Now I'm annoyed at being shushed.

Oh, thank you Stephen, for pointing out that I returned to the site. I know it's an unprecedented event, seeing as no one in the history of this fandom has done so.

Telling someone to "just leave" when they disagree with a singular incident is just sad.

I don't really see why we have to stop this just yet. I've seen no evidence of this even beginning to get out of control, and while it may end up doing so, it is also quite possible that it wont and will instead stay civil.

Note this is not me saying "screw the mods and their rules", I'm just expressing doubt that this discussion about this particular subject has to stop when it is currently showing no signs of getting uncivil.

Two reasons why the discussion should stop:

1. Because is off-topic
2. Because a mod told you so

Now, we are more than happy to hear your suggestions and critics about how things are handled here but that is why we have a Staff PM box. You can post your complaints and suggestions on how to improve there or just send a PM to a member of the staff. I can asure you we will read it and give a response.

You will respect my authoratah.

Posting a picture in what pictures made your day? Much off topic. We are like off topic nazis arn't we? (notice the pun)

Razial was the only one posting nazi stuff. I see little reason to stop all discussion about beliefs because of him.

Finished eviscerating the fish I caught yesterday (before I broke the rod >_< >:( )

Still shocked by the size of the crab I found in her stomach.

The shell alone without the legs was around 5-6 cm wide, pretty big compared to the fish.
There was another crab in there, but a smaller one and a species which I commonly find in their stomaches, this was the first time I found this particular crab species inside a fish I think.

Have you also noticed how half the combers you catch have parasites in their mouths ?

No, mainly because I don't go fishing for combers and when I do I release them.
But I noticed that thing with sand steenbras and to a minor extent with gilthead seabreams.
Seabass usually don't have parasites, I think it's because of their habit of switching from saltwater to freshwater very often.
