Don't know what to do... Completing one or more exhibits in my zoo, Posting an update, Importing fishes I need from a game, Making a little zoo for fun, Making edited pics, Making a new thread for exhibits, Watching TV, Play another game, Surfing on Youtube, Surfing on TRT, Trying to be more active on multiple subjects, Spending pointies, Asking me if I should wait or buy a title or an animal, Designing some crocodiles, Releasing an animal, Sleeping, Going outside, Doing nothing. I don't know what to do between all these things, so finally I'm bored. ![]() Edited by Dacentru, Jul 14 2014, 01:47 PM.

You're in the same condition as I am usually in, Dac. I think you should just try to be active it's the only way I forget my boredom.

Stressed about my dog... He went to the vet today for his annual check-up and shots, and I told the doctor that he's kind of stiff in the mornings and favors his left hind leg if he runs around for a bit. Our vet checked out the leg and discovered "drawer movement" in the knee joint, which indicates my dog ruptured an important tendon. He has to have surgery to stabilize the joint so that scar tissue can form and do the job of the tendon (which won't ever heal). He's an older dog and I'm freaking out about him being put under anesthesia, having surgery, the rehab he's going to need afterward, etc. And don't get me wrong, I'll do whatever needs to be done to keep my animals happy and healthy, but the $2500 surgery estimate (not including the cost of rehab) hurts. |

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that MiBound, hope your dog will be ok, the procedure will go well and you'll find some way to deal with the costs |

I can afford it out of my savings (that's why I have a savings account, for emergencies like this), but it's still a lot of money. I only recently started making a "good" salary and am used to scrimping and saving (in other words, I'm hella cheap, lol) so that much money being spent at once sends my anxiety through the roof. I'll get over it and my dog is obviously worth the expense, it's just something I have to get used to, I guess. Thanks for the well-wishes. I appreciate it

MIBound - don't worry... from my experiences dogs do better in recovery then their owners. Try not to over help as a dogs natural instincts to compensate with an injury kicks in quickly. I would recommend talking to your vet about a brace since your dog is older. It just helps support the joint while the dog heals. I am playing Scrabble on facebook. Just got an amazing score 440! |
