Where is the line between Gameshows and Reality Shows?

I've never understood that, and most people are really pro-gameshow while hating reality shows

FALSE! Writing and producing a reality t.v show is the lowest any human being can sink.
It requires a minimum of intelligence, while starring in it does not.

@James : I don't even know what a gameshow is xD

Actually the people watching the reality shows are the dumbest, the people who work on it do it for money but the people who watch it enjoy it.

Also game shows are a television program in which people compete to win prizes.

Yeah, Gameshows are shows where people come on and compete in some regard to win a competition, usually monetary prizes though not always.

Some shows are clearly gameshows like say Wipeout or Robot Wars, while others have competition in them but are seen as reality shows like Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity, and then there's those in the middle that blur the line like say... Britain's Got Talent or X-Factor.

Pure gameshows though can be enjoyable, for example I love Wipeout and Robot Wars mentioned above

Only competition show I love is So you think you can dance. It gives exposure to choreographers, dancers and the arts in general. Heck I think its cool they came up with National Dance Day.

I love watching the National Geographic Channel. They have tons of neat shows.
Discovery has a new Science show that is pretty neat. Besides that it is Barren and I have to hunt for TV shows. I would rather plug up the laptop and put a show on Netflix or project free tv.

Good news .. I don't watch much TV. My kids confiscate it anyways to watch Cartoons.

Making a tuna melt and relaxing online while my children fight over a car with determination to pull each others hair out.

Can't describe my jealousy.

What I wouldn't give to live near a zoo.
