I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

I was already depicting it with shorter legs than most reconstructions (not as short as the new references however), probably because I tend to base it off of diving birds |

Their precious JP Spino has been slowly dying for years anyway. All this discovery is is the final nail in the coffin. |

I still like Spinosaurus..... I guess I like t-rex too but my favorite predatory dinos are probably dromeosaurs and carnos. |

Can someone point me in the direction of what you're all talking about? Spinosaurus was a dinosaur Corgi? That's awesome X3 |

Just got back from the first day of high school. Wasn't good, wasn't bad, but I definitely like how they actually give you freedom compared to middle school.

Oh, I like Spinosaurus. But I like the actual animal, not JP3's exaggerated caricature. Jack Horner even insisted in interviews that the depiction was accurate.

That looks kinda ridiculous, but I like it more than the awful JP Spinosaurus which always seemed about as realistic to me as the American Godzilla |

It does indeed look ridiculous, but I still think it's awesome. If you compare many of the latest discoveries about real dinosaurs with their popular portrayals in the media, it's proof that truth really is stranger than fiction. |

it wasn't exactly running about on land, so the proportions are hardly ridiculous when you place it in its proper environment

Lol it looks hilarious! That is what the spinosaurus looked like? I thought the JP was what they looked like - well height wise anyways. I am relaxing online. Just got the kids down munching on cookies. I am on a major sweet kick right now. |

The real-life Spino was still about as big as the JP Spino (if not in fact bigger), but its proportions and general lifestyle were very different. |

you are correct, it was bigger in reality (at least in terms of mass and length) |
