Yeah, Papa Johns is great, I grew to love it while I was in America with Kayla, having it delivered regularly was wonderful. When I got back to England I had to see if there was somewhere to get it, didn't expect much (like I know there's like, two Taco Bells in all the UK) but found there's one just a town over, unfortunately that still means a long bus ride carrying pizza though On a related topic, the local store is already doing Christmas stuff, which is great from the sense that we can buy mince pies and Christmas food already, but bad since it gets things hyped too early, still got Halloween, Firework Night and more before then |

I am still a Domino's pizza fan. They have a great deal on - Large Pizza with any toppings $12. We made a super pizza. Brooklyn pepperoni, pepperoni, beef, sausage, ham, salami, pineapple, onions, olives .. and I know there was more on it. Wow .. it killed my gut lol. I am still getting through October desserts before I think about Chiristmas. Its pumpkin month! I still have at least one more pumpkin pie to stuff in. I am a Christmas lover though - I love to decorate and go nuts with baking .. music the whole bit. I start decorating on Dec 1st. Talked to my doctor - Little one is doing good - but late lol. The have told me if she does not come by nov 3rd - I will be induced at the hospital on the 5th .. so we will have to wait and see what she does. I am just eating lunch and the kids are watching cartoons. |

You work? Isn't that against Child Labor Laws? It's legal to start working when you reach 16, I believe. Edited by Narukota, Oct 21 2014, 10:29 PM.

Some states allow 15/y+ to work but my state doesn't. My state allows 16/y+ to work. I can work right now if I wanted to, but unfortunatly, I'm still clinging on to my childhood and decided not to get a job this year. ._.

In the US, during either the 1800s or early 1800s (I'm pulling this from my memory of 6th grade US history, so I'm not sure which.) there was a big problem with child labor. Many children (some around the age of like 8 IIRC) were leaving school to support their families. The jobs, however, were horrible. Most worked in coal mines and factory sweatshops where the conditions were often horrible, some even leading to death. They were also grossly underpaid. Hence the child labor laws that prevented minors under a certain age to have jobs for their own well being. |

Here you can officially only work if you're sixteen, fifteen if it's a family business. But I've seen this law broken so often, even by governmental institutions (I used to clean the rooms at a hospital for mentally ill people and a few 13/14-year olds worked there as well. |
