Working on my literature while listening to Disney and other cartoon's songs and eating a Twix. I love my life. |

Just had a nice night with firecrackers. Ritu and my entire family came over and we all celebrated. Now we are crunching on the Kebabs made by mah daddy! He is a tough rival for the chef, my mom! ![]() I love my life.

Having a burning sensation in my eye, after a teacher accidentally shone a green laser in my eye from her remote. I'm worried I'll go blind. So yeah... My status is being very worried.

Ok, I guess I should've phrased that better. I volunteer at a resale store started by my school. All the funds go to the school, as it's a really small Christian school. I just call it work so I don't have to start a long conversation about it. It's easier to just say work.

Oh, I see. My cousin does the same thing. He volunteered to tutor little kids at his school and he gets paid $5 an hour. He gives half of the money he makes to his church and the other half, he's saving up for a car.

I used to volunteer at a museum on occasion, mostly just running errands and cleaning fish tanks in the live gallery |

Relatives returned from Scotland with lots of things for my parents and I. Scleich parrot rex and bearded dragon, some books, some rather interesting chinastore animals, and absolutely mountains of sweets not available for purchase here in New Scotland (he-he).![]() I never expected to be saying these words, but I am currently the proud owner a Scleich parrot rex (yes, all the parrot jokes really do hold true). I'm going to be frank, Schleich doesn't make very good dinosaurs, they are inaccurate and only vaguely resemble the real thing, what Scleich makes are absolutely wondrous fantasy creatures based on dinosaurs. If I owned a second copy of this sculpt I would almost certainly paint a parrot styled custom, maybe add a few craft feathers, create my own daikaiju design he-he. ![]() ![]() The Scleich bearded dragon really is a lovely piece, its my second copy of it too. The chinastore figures are very interesting and nicely made for what they are. ![]() ![]() The 'Spot 50 Dinosaurs' book is definitely a piece of intrigue. Some of the reconstructions are very recent, and include things such as quilled psittacosaurus, but there are also some dated ones such as naked broken wrist deinonychus. The pokemon guide had me scratching my head at first, until i realized it was based on the English dub (lol). The MCS pins are lovely, and make a beautiful addition to my small but growing pin collection. ![]() ![]() ~ 海巳慧琉 |
