Happy birthday Izzi :D
I'm reading the "Stay Classy" confessions on imgur. Seriously I'm cringing so hard my jaw starts to ache.

Speaking of dogs, we may be getting one soon. :) My mom is getting in contact with breeders to see if they have any German Shepherds (in our price range). I'm really excited. It's been over a year since our last one died.
If it doesn't work out with the breeder, might I recommend getting a shelter dog. There are lots of great dogs/puppies and a usually only a very minimal adoption fee.

I know that, and I think we would, but last time we got a dog from there it ended up being too aggressive and we couldn't keep it. I realize not all dogs are like that, but my dad... not so much.

You could always get a puppy from the shelter?

I just tried to take my dog out and have her tow me on my skateboard, which I've done successfully before, but this time didn't exactly go as planned. She ended up running on the inside of me rather than the outside, so when I turned going out of my driveway at a considerable speed, she ran strait into me (keep in mind this is a sight hound running full speed, not just an average golden retriever trot) nocking me off my board... Needless to say the ground was hard and I chose to come back inside.

While I love German shepherds, take care of their lower back problems. My dog has only a few german shepherd bloods and she still has these lower back problems :/

That's a good point, you should really consider buying a German Shepard with a strait back. IIRC, aren't they usually cheaper?

IDK why, but there's something about most small dogs (or "rat dogs" as I call them) that I really dislike. Maybe it's how far off and deluded they seem from their wolf ancestors or they're often aggressive demeanor, but I just really don't like them. Toy/terrier breeds that just look like smaller versions of they're larger cousins are cool though. Just not a huge fan of these puffballs with legs.

I didn't like small breed dogs either, but then I got Wilda. She's a little malteser/poodle mix. She's just the cutest thing ever! And, well, the dogs I take care of are large dogs.. And it's so much more work. Wilda is just like a teddy bear, she's always next to me, she followes me everywhere, she doesnt need a leash or anything. She likes cuddling more than she likes to play. She hates the rain. She loves my turtles. She's scared of bubbles. She's wonderful :D

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

I don't know much about dogs, to be honest I'm more of an "abnormal" pet person
*cough*emumakegreatpets*cough* :P

WAAAHHH
super busy surprise busy day DDD=

-I get home and then I'm rushed off to math tutoring
-after that we go pick up my dad at his lab
-then we went to value village on the way home, and I got a robo-raptor, I already have one but its mechanics are damaged (it turns on spontaneously), whereas this new one is damaged aesthetically but the mechanics seem fine, so I plan on scavenging parts from my old one to fix up the new one aesthetically

the new one is the one with the damaged(/missing) tail

Don't forget how annoying their voices are, if I didn't love dogs I would have shot hundreds of these rodents.

Sorry for the low quality, this was the only picture of Cleo that's online. (I somehow found her on Google images!)

Edit: this was in reply to Fridooh

Well that's also why my parents want to get a dog from a breeder... That way family lines can be checked to see if back and hip problems are as prevalent.

But of course I'll always love my fat little lizards too. ;)

OH YESSS!

Just accomplished my second major goal in Nintendogs + Cats... which is to get a Cat. Now I'm testing the "Wait 30 minutes and get a free gift" mechanic with it, which requires keeping the game and 3DS on for that amount of time or longer, and you're Cat will briefly leave and bring home a gift. It's a long term way of earning money, yes, but not as short term as Dogs in how they can earn money faster through contests, and in much greater amounts I should add.
