So my dad goes, 'Winter's here, and exams are over, we should go somewhere.' I being the homeboy type replied, 'Nope.' Mom cries. I say, 'What about the zoo......?' Two agree at once. So that's it, I am going to the zoo on Sunday! YAY! Gonna take some pictures as well.

*is dead of excitement* ![]() Okay, so I went to the zoo today (YAY) and took a lot of pictures. I was only disappointed with the monkey house, the floors were too solid for them. And a LOT of dead tress with no living trees at all. The Giraffes, Elephants etc. were great. The Asiatic lion is super lazy and sometimes I doubt if it is alive or not. A lot of new animals (exotic) were brought, a female Palawan peacock pheasant was replaced for the male, and the herd of seven elephants were sent to the Dooars jungles and a pair of 5-year old elephants were brought who were separated and thrown out of their respective herds. This young pair seems to grow affection towards each other. And I fed the royal green parrots and the hill mynas and also the deers(which was not pictured) and again managed to pet the Palawan peacock pheasant (again not pictured). The other feedings I will post soon. In short, I had fun. ![]() |

*epic nosebleed moment* On topic: watching some anime. It is really funny. In the end of the episode 1, it says, 'If you don't watch the next episode, your butt will be crucified at the school gate '

I did so much today, drove like a hundred fifty miles along the SoCal coast, saw lots of Harbour Seals and a Baird's Beaked Whale. Also went to Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens and saw a sixteen day old giraffe. |
