The internet at my place was disconnected all last night and this morning. Something was wrong with the server. I almost died.

I have notice two things about this site: - We love talking about the weather (we sound like a bunch of old folks) - A lot of people are reptile enthusiasts (eekkk snakes) About to murder the dog. No means no ... you may not eat the Christmas tree. She has been attacking it all day. Same goes for the toddlers lol. I am actually working on my society zoo *hark*. I found a free moment

At least your dog sticks to the tree. Mine opens presents because she knows that there's something in them. |

My dog stole and ate an entire ham. Then proceeded to vomit it all other the place. Also Frida, the two guys are King Karl XII and King Gustavus II Adolphus, both from Sweden ![]() Karl XII AKA Carolus Red refused to let the church crown him as "his crown came directly from God" and defeated Denmark and Poland in the Great Northern War. Gustavus Adolphus AKA der Löwe von Mitternacht or the Lion of the North entered the Thirty Years' War on behalf of the protestants. His strategies revolutionized the entire art of warfare forever and he is widely considered one of the greatest military commanders of all time, inspiring Napoleon and Clausewitz. |

I'm impressed that you know so much about Swedish history! The only guy I recognize is Karl XII, but I've only heard stuff about his death, I think he was shot by one of his own? |

No-one knows yet. It's theorized that he was murdered on the orders of his brother-in-law, who became King of Sweden as Fredrik I after his death. His body was exhumed in 1746, 1859 and 1817. The 1859 exhumation found out that the shot had been fired from the Danish fortress and the two other found out he had been murdered by his own. |
