My my, mibound, that looks so very Indian. And is this a very weird coincidence that a 90% similar gold jewelry was bought by my aunt?

It's made with beads and crystals and lots and lots of fishing wire, but yes, it's a bit Egyptian-ish/Indian-ish to me too, though the pattern designer describes it as being inspired by the jewels gifted to a European marchesa/marquess/marquis for successfully defending her estate/territory from invaders. Or something. I just think it's sparkly and pretty. Gaudy, but still pretty.

It's my mom's birthday today and I can't decide what to do for her. I was thinking about taking her out to eat, but it just doesn't seem that special. Any ideas? Edited by Narukota, Jan 16 2015, 12:56 PM.

Eating Subway and diving into a new book. I watched the movie If I stay - and loved it so much, that I had to read the book! |
