Love lytronax, the only specimen is a juvenile so it is diffently perportioned than the adult would be. |

I think you confused that with Siats, IIRC Lythronax was an adult one. CJ: I know that is where kiwi feathers meet the scales. I will blur that out when I put colour on it. |

I always increase the contrast of the textures / and / or sharpen them just until you would consider them oversharpened (only the texture layers, not after merging!!). Your skins would definitely benefit from that procedure

I am back in released projects, maybe just for a while. I have seen that there are some people using my creations lately after all, not too many, but at least some, so I think I have no good reason anymore to not release the majority of my projects. I will however design what I like, and not what is wished for. I will mostly do partially JP based ( slightly to somewhat speculative, colourful-er, but still accurate and definitely largely feathered/quilled ) animals. The new animal is one of my favourite sauropods and a relatively often suggested animal ![]() ( Credits go to MrGorsh for the scale texture, colouration based on this ) I'm rather proud of my skin and it was a rather quick one ( just 4 hours of work compared to the usual 12+ I need on this type of skin ). The texture is quite good as well, just not very visible here since it has a way lower resolution than the skin ( 4096x4096px ). I originally planned it to add quills, but I lacked the space because of the spike. the positions of the spikes are totally speculative, so is the head. There is no common view on either of them, so I went for that what seemed most reasonable for me. The animal is already ingame, I just need to make the zoopedia and some other coding stuff ( 3. and 4. life stage, herding, probably territorial fighting ). The rigging isn't the best due to problems with the stegosaur animation and Hendrix's bones. I hope you like it and I can't wait for your comments. |

Your skinning is getting better philly, i especially love the spikes. If you can add in more details then your creation will be even better. Plus i think your meshes are good but you are saving verts a bit too much. You should at least add some to make the belly of the animals rounder. And last thing philly, im sure many people use your stuffs. Just that not everyone can have a show & tell for you to see. |
