By having the animals ingame for several ingame months, and trying to find any glitches and tell philly about them so he can fix them

Though if you're wondering about his current projects, I'm already testing those. ;)

You don't call dibs on being a tester. You get hand-picked by the designer.

Oh.....

Sorry I am part of a design team as the box artist and researcher so I still need to learn about the other stuff.

Anyway if I'm needed just send me a PM.

I do neither respect demands on my creations nor do I really like pestering behaviour, so: no.

I was working on a
Spoiler Alert
, but got bored during skinning and changed to a different animal I always wanted to make, but lacked the skinning capabilities. I already announced and started this animal about a year ago, but only in Roy's team ( forgot the name ), so most of you won't know. It is :

the JP Dilophosaurus.

Most think of it as an abomination of Dilophosaurus, but I think it is a good creature and by far my favourite dinosaur of Jurassic Park, not because of its ( very low ) realism, but because of its appearance and interesting behaviour. I think it is pretty safe to assume the movie one was a young one (" big brethren") and so both novel ( which I even prefer over the movie one ) and movie portrayal are to be taken into consideration. I changed the appearance slightly ( mainly quills on the young, feathers on the older ones ), but I think it won't be too bad for you. I first had feathers on the young, too, but it did conflict with the pattern and the colouration, so it is bald ( sorry ). The young and the juvenile will have working frills , and I hope to implement the spitting as well by using hissing(?) animation as attack animation.

( Credits go to MrGorsh for the scale texture )

I don't think the skin is very good, but I couldn't make it any better since yellow is an awful colour for feathers, however I am quite happy about the outcome of the scaly parts. ( I already changed the claw colours of the male, I don't know why they turned red )

I still hope you like it and can't wait for your comments.

This one is my favourite animal by you. I really like it. Though I suggest sharpening the texture layer and/or duplicating it.

Thank you. The feathers are already tripled with 60% sharpening ( I get awful lines in between the feathers when I go too high ), the scales are actually quite visible, but it is difficult to see due to the resolution of the picture.

Hmm, what kind of layer type is it? I usually use overlay for textures, while yours looks like soft light?

very good animal, my only critique goes to the crest of the young and juvenile, it looks just like the one of the audults while they wouldn't still need it.

Overlay is the one I use, too. Duplicating or tripling generally improves little.

Nope, I use overlay ("Überlagern") as well.

I kept myself rather close to the movie with the young ( apart from the pronated hands ) and since the young had a "bigger" crest already I saw no need to make it smaller with the juvenile.
