With Jragon

With Jragon is a blogy thing written and house kept by yours truly.
With Jragon is a thread where I will post games, polls, questions, and maybe even a couple contests, but the main purpose of With Jragon will be for me to interact with the members here and for members to interact with me on a more personal scale. If I'm serious everywhere else on the forum, this will be the place that I will be more open and light hearted.

Disclaimer: With Jragon is separate from The Round Table, and anything said, suggested, or done is done by Jragonizer as a Private Member, not by Jragonizer as Admin of TRT.

There's one I want to ask... I might have done so before, but I forgot your answer.

What do you want to do with your life? Do you have a planned career or life dream you'd like to talk about? :)

well, we did talk about it a long time ago but I never gave a clear answer, and I still don't really have a clear idea on it to be honest... something along the line of computers, coding, or designing, however I'd like to be a business manager of some sort ;)

I don't know you at all, so I think this is kinda interesting. :P I can understand you don't have a clear idea yet, I'd suggest just look at your capacities or what you'd like to be. :)

Whatever you do make sure before you go to college you are sure its a job you want to do, can do, and has a good amount of jobs open. My sister has a ton of degrees and is far in debt and none of her degrees go together. Meanwhile she lives in a house without drinking water.

Currently in the community, we have a few tweens of 10-12, and a few peeps over the age of 19, but the majority of us are teens. Nowadays in our society (at least the American society) the term "teen" is usually used in adult conversation in a bad way. Often referring to our apparent bad behaviors, like sleeping in, our ability to faze out of reality with music, and our technical second nature. We also get blamed for the stupid acts of other teens that the rest of us, for some reason, have to take blame for as well.

Personally, I'm a pretty moral feller; I don't walk around breaking the laws or make YOLO an excuse for my actions, but I still feel older people look down on me often just because of my age group... as if I can help that I have to be fifteen before 21. Ya'll probably get the same feelings around some people. I mean, just because I'm a teen, doesn't mean that you should automatically assume that I sleep in till noon, never make my bed, have a room that looks like a pigs sty, and have no interest in anyone but my peers.
While so many of the older generation only note how brick headed and disengaged we are, we teens often feel that if they are right, we can't change and have another 5 years to be the stupidest people on earth. Sadly we may make this an excuse to ruin our future by 'enjoying the present' before we become old grouches.

Like most other teens I love music, love computers, love the internet, love socializing, love chatting, love pizza, love pasta, love icecream, love eating in general! I can stay up all night, and rarely go to bed before midnight. I am a zombie in the morning, and drink coffee. In the warmers seasons I love the outdoors. Parties, camping, sports, and activities. In the colder weather i'm just like a hibernating bear. If the time I spent listening to music and doing who knows what on the computer were added to my sleep hours I'd only have a few hours left in the week for life and a lot of those hours would be spent eating.
Computer is my second language. Actually it may even be my first language. While most adults would put bat to screen everyday when working at their desk, I find it much easier to communicate and understand a computer then human beings. Either operating systems were made for teens, or teens were made for operating systems.
Along with these things I enjoy movies, food, early mornings... when I can sleep through them, an occasional computer game, a good book, friends, and food. Yeah I already mentioned that.

If you're a teen, more likely then not a few of those things don't describe you too well. Maybe you don't know all that much about computers or maybe you can't stand reading, but ore likely then not I'm hitting it home here. I kinda intended it that way. While we have a lot in common we have a lot of differences. Majority of teens don't enjoy country music like me, hate pepperoni and baloney, would prefer a truck to a sports car, or a farm over a house in the city.

Since I didn't really plan the structure of this speech (aint nobody got time for dat) the conclusion of this may seem a little bit... off. As teens and preteens and even adults, we shouldn't be discouraged when people look down on us, or make negative assumptions about us. Rather then using their assumptions as an excuse to maybe be lazy or whatever else so many people expect of us, we should try and be different. Just because other teens may do it (and to be honest I'm not totally sure all that other teens do that's so bad), but we shouldn't fall in to feeling that we can only do what is expected of us.

I think the main point in what I'm trying to say is that we should exceed our expectation. If you're still reading this, you've exceeded my expectation. I'm proud of you. Now that you've had your basic training I encourage you to continue to do so in bigger things. Start with little things, and work up to bigger things.

I encourage anyone to post somethings that people often expect of teens, somethings you think make teens special, observations, comments, or some sea bottom low expectations that you may have lived by in the past, but are going to try and exceed.

I am 21 and the majority of the bad stuff you listed fits me. Guess I'm one of the bad teens in disguise as an adult. xD

well its not some magic formula that happens once you reach 20 that makes you "mature" xD

Hopefully before I leave on Monday I will post some kind of chronological story of my life, like Danny and Susan did.... simply because they did and yeah.... nothing else to post about xD

Well, I'll answer that bellow Cj ;)

The following story is of me.... its hopefully not complete.

0. I was born on April 3rd 1997 in Kentucky. Small room. Small house. Apparently I had a mum and a dad in the room, and an 8 year old brother and 6 year old sister in the other room watching Chidi-Chidi Bang Bang, a really long movie with a whole lot of music and in it.

1. To be honest I have no idea what the heck happened here. I'd suspect that I probably did a lot of eating, some sleeping, some more eating and whole lot of pooping. Other then that my brother Robert was born.

2. I think my first word is "ball". According to mum and my older sister I had a very good throw at my age, and was absolutely obsessed with balls. I probably continued to do what I did during my first year.

3. Lets see, this is 2000 so in January my sister Hope is born. Robert and I climb out of our cribs, for the first time, to see why mom was screaming so hard in the other room (yeah she had home births). This may have been the day that I learned that babies don't just pop out of peoples' big round tummies. A couple weeks after Hope is born, we move to our current house which Dad made on top of a hill in 46 acres out in the country. Still in Kentucky. bigger house. Bigger rooms. Much bigger yard.

4. I'm four years old and I am enjoying the life of a country kid. I love animals. LOVE THEM. We get a golden retriever who we still currently have. We may have actually gotten her in 2000 but I'm not sure...
Mom also has another kid.... and its a boy this time. Welcome to the world Noah ;)

5. Having a big brother at age 5 is awesome. Robert and I would follow older brother Shepherd everywhere, and enjoyed the acres of woods we had as well as the tree fort in our front yard. My love for nature and animals is growing.

6. It's 2003 and my sister Liberty will be born this year. Sadly though my mom's mum dies which is hard on the whole family. Don't take your grandparents for granted.... I never really grew up with any.

7. 2004 was probably one of my longest years, but I don't remember much of it. I think we went on a vacation, and I know I got a black and white rabbit who I named Panda! He was my first real pet and meant the world to me. I am now animal obsessed. Thanks to Panda, rabbits are my favorite animal, and I become a vegetarian to do my part in helping the animals.

8. Ok so life is pretty good. Summers are awesome, and so are winters. Robert and I play in the woods, creek, fields and playhouse. We have tons of horses now but we are slowly selling them off because... well I'm not sure why. I think they started to become expensive so my miniature pony, black pony, and miniature pony's foul as well as like 14 other horses are slowly sold...

9. I have three brothers and three sisters. We think we have a huge family. Apparently though God thought it could get bigger because in 2006 we adopt 5 teenagers from Liberia, a country on the West Coast of Africa... I'm not gonna list their names though because they are so unique that one of our friends would probably find this post through google... and that'd be weird.

10. Adjusting to five new siblings is hard, especially when they are from a totally different culture, where they experienced war, hunger, death of loved ones and just trauma after trauma. Fortunately they all spoke english so we quickly became very close bonded and I can't image what it'd be like with a family any smaller or without each one of them.

11. I think this is the year I got Zoo Tycoon 2 Ultimate collection, though I'm not positive. Up until now I had been dreaming of Zoo Tycoon, but when we got it back in '05 it hadn't worked on any of our computers. Now though we got brand new school computers and the game. Hallelujah!

12. Lets see, in 2009 we kinda foster 4 kids. This is the summer where I, along with Robert and one of the foster girls really get into computers. Graphics, design, video, and projects. Anything techy we were in it, and I loved it. I became obsessed with computers. My love for animals is slowly dying, but they are still awesome. This is the year that my rabbit Panda dies. My heart still drops when I talk about him. Apparently 4 years hasn't done too much mending.

13. I haven't really gotten into Zoo Tycoon yet.... I'm not sure why. We went on several vacations in 2010, but other then that I don't remember much.

14. Best year of my life. Start to discover Zoo Tycoon again, re-find out that I can download animals for it and soon find the community. Sadly, all the forums I discover are ghost towns. Later on in the year I try and pick up designing, and some how find AD's website while looking for downloads. This leads me to link to Northern Skies. I couldn't believe it. In the past I had read posts in dead forums, thinking all the members had left, but here they all where again, in a bright and blue forum where people I thought had left for good had gathered together. It was like heaven...sorta..... ok not really, but it was awesome. Firstly I become download obsessed, and quickly filled my game up, then I posted a couple time and even edited my signature, which is pretty good for a Download Hunter.
Apparently CRG saw my signature which said something like "God Bless" and PMed me letting me know he appreciated the blessing... or something like that. We quickly became friends. He was the first, but he has a lot of friends.

15. Janruary of 2012 was a big month for me in the community. I become close with JimmyHoopz and Purple monkey as well. I also get to know Danny a little, but the person i spent the most time talking to was zebrasorus.... and by a lot I mean a whole lot. It was a very interesting winter, but I'm not about to share about it cuz it'd be as long as this page already is. Later on Susan and i along with some of our friends would make the Original TRT. I wanted to make a Meeting Place for people to hangout. It didn't really take off like I had hoped but it was more successful then the average small site.
Durring 2012 I would leave the community several times, but I obviously always came back.

16. Well I'm not yet sixteen. Still have a couple weeks to go, but this has been a wonderful year already.

Some things I may not have mentioned is how wonderful my parents are. :hugs: I love them so much. I am also a firm believer of an All Powerful God, and of Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm going to bed though cuz I am pooped.

I have no questions. I am glad you have such a large family. Your parents used a midwife right? Your mom just didn't have the kids always at home alone? You guys were then taken to the hospital right?
