This'll mainly be my place to keep updates that don't fit in the regular topic.

Pax Dei Wildlife Parks began with a zoo in South East Asia and soon moved its main offices to North America in California, then to Wisconsin. Its first zoo opened in North America was Pax Dei Wisconsin. The zoo had lots of Space and over several years grew to be one of the biggest zoos in Wisconsin. With money made there and donations from Fireploompa World Parks and Rehab Centers we opened a Large Zoo in Santa Rosa California. With money made from that we bought a struggling zoo in Manchester England named Bamboo Gardens. With some money coming in from that and grants there from the British Government we were able to take money that we reserved for that and send it to our Europe Branch and began work on a zoo in Germany. Unfortunately soon after Pax Dei Wisconsin soon got hit with another tornado much worse then the first and we knew we had to move away from the Tornado Valley. We moved in 2007 to Green Lake Wisconsin. There was a zoo near there in Kingston, Wisconsin that we bought the name and rights to and began working on Meadow Valley.

Meadow Valley is the newest zoo created under the Pax Dei Banner. It is located in Green Lake Wisconsin. After rebuilding Pax Dei Wisconsin once after a nasty tornado just to be hit again 2 years later we knew we had to change locations. In the early 1990's we began plans to update Pax Dei Wisconsin but when we got hit again we knew we'd have to scrap the ideas but we did keep a few stuff. Most of the animals died or were severely injured from the original Pax Dei as the zoo took a near direct hit having gone through 2/3rds of the zoo. Some animals did survive though such as all but one zebra, all the giraffes, all the polar bears, the maned wolves, Half of the flamingoes, all the primates, Red Kangaroo, Black Rhinos, and all but three Siberian Tigers. The others all died, escaped, or had to be sent to rescue missions.

We knew we couldn't start from scratch on animals as we hadn't gotten all of the animals under our insurance as we had so many no insurance could afford 100% of them. We did have enough to cover 100% of the buildings. We decided to make up a large part of the zoo with Native species. That way we could also make the zoo as large as before and more up to today's standards.

We knew that with the amount of animals we had that survived that were in demand if we traded surplus animals and more rare animals for similar less expensive animals we could fill the zoo. We traded the 8 Siberian Tigers that survived to 3 zoos across the north central USA and in-exchange we received 2 Bengal Tigers, and 6 Gibbons. We traded the 2 Black Rhinos to a zoo in Chicago, Illinois in-exchange for 2 White Rhinos and 3 Blue Wildebeest. We traded the 6 maned Wolves, and 4 cubs allong with our Patas Monkey for 6 Gerenuk and 3 Blue Wildebeest. Pax Dei California sent over 4 Cheetahs, 6 Clouded Leopards, 4 Snow Leopards, and 8 Tasmanian Tigers. We traded those animals for 6 Bottlenose Dolphins already trained, 2 Indian Leopards, and 5 Bat Eared Fox, and 4 Coati.

The plans began in 1994 for the new zoo in Green Lake Wisconsin and by 1997 we were opened. We started with zookeepers from the original Pax Dei Wisconsin but some moved on to other organizations so we started a training program and an internship program. We also have a program called Little Lovers. Where we let 14 and over teens come in after they have gone through training and passed the resume process. Where we have them be our zookeeper helpers. We only let them in the exhibits with smaller animals and herbivores and insectivores that are used to people. We haven't had any incidents yet involving serious injuries either and actually have had several Little Lovers graduate high school and go into Biology classes in college in hopes of becoming full time staff at our zoo. The oldest from our original class is in his last class at College and we hope to invite him back as an educator, spokesperson and part time zookeeper.

Pax Dei Bamboo Gardens was originally a flower garden plot that was owned by a local business owner in Manchester England. He ended up losing money and abandoned it. He left it to his son who was an animal lover and took in a few local injured animals from all over Europe such as Red Deer and Fallow Deer. By this time the bamboo plants that was planted had over grown and the whole area was covered in bamboo. When word came to the locals about this area it started receiving funds to turn it into a zoo and a rich man bought it out and put money into it. Unfortunately he started losing money and decided to sell it to the highest bidder. With money donated from Pax Dei Wisconsin and Pax Dei California guests we bought out Bamboo Gardens and renamed it Pax Dei Bamboo Gardens.

Pax Dei Bamboo Gardens is located in Manchester England in Europe. When Pax Dei took over the Zoo we bought a second area of land next to the zoo. It was very foresty and we tried not to cut down any trees or plants. There was a river running through the land and we decided to keep it and the surrounding forests so that local animals still had that area. Some animals in Pax Dei Bamboo Gardens have existed for generations as we have many Fallow Deer that we have gotten from several years of breeding. We traded many of those to zoos worldwide and received many exotic animals.

We have had the Snow Leopards for about 20 years. We kept and raised some of the off spring. Some we traded to zoos worldwide and thats how we got a pair of Amur Leopards. We kept the breeding pair and they had offspring in which we raised to adult hood and traded the males to other zoos for males that were unrelated inwhich also breed. We traded there offspring and got a pack of African Wild Dogs. By then we had more leopards and such and started trading them and got Flamingoes and Nile Crocodiles and soon we had a full zoo full of exotic species. We are now known all over England and have people all over the UK coming to view our many animals.

Pax Dei Bamboo has lots of dark wood and green metal fencing. We have lots of ferns, logs, and bamboo for our many animals.

In 1955 Pax Dei opened its second zoo in California. With a large monetary donation from FWPRC we bought four large plots of Land that have a road going between the middle. It is located in Santa Rosa, California. It is a card carrying member of the California Zoo Association. A group based only in California that funds zoos in California based on making California the hot spot for Zoological institutes. Some animals in the zoo came from Pax Dei Wisconsin which opened 6 years prior. The zoo has a large variety of palm trees and lush sandy exhibits. This zoo is still the largest zoo done to date by Pax Dei however we have large plans for the Scottsdale zoo which would surpass it. The zoo has over 80 species including marine Animals, Reptiles, Birds, Insects, and many mammals.

Posted Image

Located in Dortsmund Germany, this zoo was opened in the 1970s and after becoming somewhat successful, the owner died in 2002 and left the zoo to his brother. When his brother died in 2004 without an heir at a young age and no living relatives the Government in order to keep it open seized it in 2005 and after a massive bidding war Pax Dei won out with there plans. They began upgrading exhibits at a massive speed and reopened in 2008. With animals being brought in from animal saving practises, and donations and Loans from local zoo's allong with donations from Pax Dei's other zoos we had a much heralded selection of animals.

Here at Pax Dei we have funded and bought the rights to several government sponsor wildlife reserves. We started in the African Savannah's. We have 1 in Kenya, Africa. We also have one in Burma, Asia. On these reserves we have a wide variety of animals some big some small but here on our website you can see them all.

Pax Dei Burma Reserve is located in the tropical Rainforests of Burma in Asia. Burma is in South to South East Asia depending on your definition. We have a touring service located there that offers tours to wealthy donators to show them the wonders of the Rainforests in hopes they make major donations.

Posted Image

Pax Dei Wildlife Reserves Kenya is located in Middle Kenya. Most of the animals here are native to this area but we also have introduced animals from other areas of Kenya. We provide funds for animal conservations via our Boat tours that we have here. Our boat tour lasts 6 hours and we have a tour that is from 9 AM until 3 PM and 4 pm until 10 PM.

On our tour you can see many animals known worldwide such as Giraffes, Zebras, Cheetahs, Nile Crocodiles, Waterbuck, Hyena, Gazelle's, Elephants, Wild Dogs, Rhino's and many more.

Since our tour lasts 6 hours it is recommended you bring a packed lunch and snacks. We do keep emergency supplies on board and have 2 helicopters kept on site in the event of an emergency. If you forget your packed lunch we do have a snack shack available at the gate that sells many snacks, souvenirs, batteries, disposable camera's, and buckets of fish to bait crocodiles for a better experience.

I use Gimp man. :D

I have a template I use that I made. At the bottom I have all my logos. The top the Newsletter Logo which is a font. I used colors that are slightly changed from Gaia since that was the original place I showed it at. I added the lines to separate like real news papers. I have the image at 649 px wide. I crop the photos to as short as possible and still look good. Then I resize them to 300 px. wide. The font on the articles is comis sans ms bold. The logos font is Faltura Animals I think. Then the border on the edges is 2 px. Company logo on the bottom left. WAZA on the bottom right.

I got my entry exhibit for the GZS challenge done. I just need to decide if it will be the penguins exhibit which I'll have to remake, or the exhibit I made for it being the Mongoose. Reason being the Mongoose exhibit is rather detailed for Mongoose, yet the Penguin exhibit is nice now and I don't want to have to remake it.
