I've managed to fix the Puzzle bug with the Diplocaulus, and I've just finished the Estemmenosuchus' puzzles.

Now just working on the gifts...

What about Shrek? :J

Anyway, on topic. xD
The turntables look really neat, in my opinion those two guys could straight be out of a documentary. :D

Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
Now these seriously look awesome OS. The render is very well-done, and not shitty at all :)
However, is this skin covering the horns of the Estemmenosuchus ? It looks like the colour and texture are the same as on the body. I don't know if that's intended, but if it's not, I'd suggest changing them to a paler colour.

No, the skin does not stretch over the "crown" :P that was simply the lighting in the video giving that effect

The turntables are definitely a great idea and I'm happy to see that the Diplocaulus and the Estemmenosuchus are relatively close to completion! If you don't mind me asking, what were the most challenging parts about making these particular animals? As someone who is still learning the ropes of making 3D animals, seeing more of your work is quite inspirational, keep it up!

There were a couple of tricky things to be honest :P It was pretty hard to find a reference for the Estemmenosuchus' body because almost all images of its skeleton are from the front, and not from the side.

The trickiest part will undoubtedly be the Estemmenosuchus coding though. I'm planning on coding it like the Hippo, but substituting all the animation links in the bfm with Triceratops animations, so the Estemmenosuchus will behave like the Hippo but move like a Triceratops :P

I've updated both turntables with help from Benzoomaster :P go back a page to see them

I've compiled a video of some of the new fossils I've made. Might re-do Liliensternus' and might add quills to the Protoceratops fossil, not sure...
